I come here often and thought I should write a review - I always order a double espresso. That's it. It should come out strong, hot, and not overdrawn. The servers here know how to make it right. Once in a while it is NOT right, and I tell them and they repeat it and make it right. Very happy with their quality of coffee and their service. The only drawback is that my kids used to love their "pink cookie" - this huge cookie with pink icing. Man, those were gooooood! The no longer carry them. That's ok, my kids get ice cream at the food court now. The espresso? Still great.

Small little coffee shop inside Hillsdale Mall right next to the Nordstrom store. They serve a bunch of different types of Espresso Drinks and other beverages. Very nice coffee.

Delicious smoothie options. I was so thirsty and decided to get a smoothie. I got the beet smoothie and it came with berries. It also had coconut milk. I loved how creamy it was! It was amazing and such a bright fun color. Can't go wrong with beets.

It was a trip down memory lane yesterday when we decided to have an espresso drink here after lunch while at Hillsdale shopping center. Until yesterday my access to a Nordstrom Espresso Bar was gone after Nordstrom at Stonestown closed down. I always enjoyed having a latte so I had a chance yesterday. Entrance & exit to the bar adjacent to Nordstrom was narrow as they attempted to create a protected one way in and one way out due to COVID. I placed my order for a soy latte. However the storefront is very small. It was hard to maintain six feet of social distancing in tight quarters. I decided to step into the mall area to wait. Fortunately the one customer ahead of me got his order and I stepped back inside. My order was next. Got it and made a beeline to a table by the entrance to Nordstrom. My soy latte was hot in temperature and had the right amount of foam. My afternoon coffee was reminiscent of all the afternoons at the Nordstrom in Stonestown now a memory.

I normally get my coffee from that other place. For the life of me I don't know why. But today that other place was out of brewed coffee. So I came here. Got a large coffee. I think it's more expensive than the other place. But thier coffee tastes pretty good.

Nordstrom Espresso Bar is one of the best cafes in San Mateo CA area. Baristas named Ryan and Peaches are on point, they know their products, professional and consistently make very good cold/hot beverages. They make it sure you will get what you paid for.
