This isn't really a single restaurant, this is a one-stop shop for quite a few restaurants. My favorites are Rooster and Rice (really simple chicken and rice dishes with a delicious broth) and East Side Bahn Mi (caramel pork vermicelli bowl is awesome). I've found the food selection more limited compared to if you went to the actual restaurants themselves, but quality is great for what they do have. It is a little on the pricey side, so you're paying a bit for this variety. Interior is a cool place, with a few seats that are a nice place to wind down. Seating is super limited, as most of the expected business is takeout. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and have given me multiple recommendations I didn't think I'd like, but I changed my mind on. Overall a staple of downtown SM that I go back to quite often.

We have ordered both pickup and delivery from this place. It is a bit cheaper to order from the store using their in-store kiosk which is something like McDonald system. The food is not that spectacular. I usually order burger which is delicious, but nothing special. This time around, my wife ordered beef kebab rice bowl which she did not like at all. She said the kebab was bitter. We ordered falafel too which was very disappointing, under-seasoned and very small. They recently added indoor sitting. I think the inside environment is chill and quiet. I probably order again when I want something fast and reliable, but with realistic expectations.

Ordered a pork Bahn Mi. The taste was good with a bit of spicy taste.

No stars deserved for this place but it won't let you post a story without a star . I'm a (former) regular customer and when I doordashed some cookies this eve, they sent me BURNED Choc chip cookies 4 pack. Inedible. Burned beyond recall. The kind you threw at your brother when mom burned them beyond edibility. I called down there, got shuffled around (no accountability) then got a man named Jorge who insisted all they could do was offer a refund. No attempt to bake a fresh batch and get them to the customer. $25 bucks via doordash to have someone deliver inedible garbage. Complete and utter FAIL Noshery. 4 burned cookies 4 thumbs down

I tried the Chicken Sandwich from Banh Mi, Oren’s Beef Kebab Rice Bowl and Pita Chicken. They are all very good! Banh Mi’s chicken is very well marinated! Oren’s is the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Abdallah, the kitchen manager, is very helpful and knowledge.

We've been ordering Noshery for about a year now because my son loves the Melt's grilled cheese. While the Burlingame location closed before he could eat solids, he always loved and still loves getting the kid's grilled cheese from the Melt at Stanford when in the area. Naturally, we were thrilled when Noshery offered a few items from the Melt. The Melt items here have been solid, although less buttery than Melt locations. We've had several items here from other vendors - Sumo Dog, and East Meets West. Sumo Dog was fine and a nice addition. Aside from Doghaus, I haven't had any other local fusiony hot dog places. East Meets West's noodle was a hearty portion but wasn't my cup of tea. However, what really brings this to a 2 star review was for the chicken rice plates from their new Rooster and Rice offering. We've been a R&R fan for years and was excited for this offering. However, even when DoorDash RWC ghost kitchen offered it, with their inconsistent clumpy rice, I would've preferred that over what we received from Noshery last night. Now, I am not skilled with my knife cuts, but our chicken was cut horribly, the same with the cucumbers. Home cook, totally understandable, but it really should've been cut better for buying this outside, and for the price point. Even the thigh meat just looked like it was tore off. Additionally, both the white and thigh meat were exceedingly dry, making it not pleasant to swallow. Honestly, I could get past the looks of the meat, had it not been so dry. I've never had the meat, especially thigh meat at any Rooster & Rice, or any chicken dish dry. The rice was also a bit mushy. I don't think we'll ever take the chance on this dish from Noshery again, and will probably stick to the Melt.

Noshery is my favorite place to eat in San Mateo. You can choose from tons of different options across multiple different restaurants. Some days I want hummus and pita and some days a bahn mi and they have them all in the same spot. Perfect when you go for lunch with friends and can't decide what food you want, go to Noshery, they have everything!
