Absolute gem of a restaurant, which explains why there are wait times outside Thursday - Sunday evenings. Their classic Lanzhou noodle soup is delicious but pretty much any of their options have a place in my heart.
Get their wide, house made noodles and the broth is not only flavorful, but also filled with a good amount of protein and vegetables.
Staff are very friendly and they have both digital and physical menus!

Ok I live in SF and I came down to eat here with a friend. PHENOMENAL
Authentic beef ramen (yes, ramen is originated from China and literally means pulled noodle if you're wondering) at very reasonable price. Beef is well flavoured and tendered. Ramen/noodle is pretty good. Biggest disappointment is the broth, which unfortunately left you with the classic MSG thirst - a shortcut that takes away the soul of the ramen, and hence a modest 3/5 rating.

This noodle soup was good! The portions were perfect, I felt full but not stuffed. The staff were all really friendly too. Definitely a place I'd go back to. recommend giving it a try!
The try of noodles i tried ...
Knife cut noodles are good but hand cut so some parts are thicker then other so the texture will be different
Thick flat cut is good consistent texture , ate with dry style
Small flat cut is good consistent texture in noodles soup, softer as it soaks

Food’s good, but there’s now a $25 minimum for credit cards and they don’t take AmEx. That makes it more annoying to come here solo.

Fresh noodles have great texture but the broth for the Lanzhou Handpulled noodle soup and the Braised Beef with Chinese pickle noodle soup were veryyy bland. I had to add some soy sauce just to have some flavor.
The sauce that came with the spicy wontons was good tho, so I ended up pulling my noodles into sauce and eating it like that.

High recommend this place!
The line was quite long to get seated because it was that popular!
Below are pictures of the spicy wonton, Braised beef stew noodles (regular round, belt flat), and last but not least the mung bean noodles with garlic sauce. Overall 10/10 for the food! 💜

Downsides:
#1 No hot tea, that’s a disappointment. My boyfriend said the water tasted like a$$ so that’s sink water.
#2 I don’t know who gave me the bok choy but they had small little spots on half of them. Why do you think I should eat that? It’s offensive to a paying pregnant customer. Or anyone.
We went here last night and got seated at 7pm. The service was great and fast. Watching the guy individually hand pulled each noodle was an experience of its own. I cannot eat spicy so there was only one option and maybe can separate or remove if asked? But everything is made to order on phone and two servers; busy night. more selections!
The noodles were fantastic, we devoured in 30 minutes and left satisfied.
We will be back to try again! More drinks selections please!

This is the first Lanzhou ramen restaurant I have ever eaten that offers pig ears. Regarding the beef ramen, first of all, the portion is very large and I feel very full. Secondly, the soup tastes very good, just like the Lanzhou ramen I eat in China, but the noodles are not quite right. Strictly speaking, the noodles are delicious, but they do not taste like Lanzhou ramen. , I ordered it carefully and it turned out to be very thick and chewy, more like Shaanxi's fried noodles.

First time here. There’s very little meat in the noodle or the dumplings (all chives). Flavor is just okay, it wasn’t a wow. Side dishes were not tasty… esp the cold beef slices, flavorless. Probably won’t come back.
