Chewy noodles, yummy broth, good variety of veg in the veggie soup. Liked the beef broth option without the pieces of meat. Lots of cilantro which have the broth a light, clean taste. The fried bread sticks are as decadent as they sound and could get addicting. The red chili flakes are more like Korean gochugaru and have warmth and flavor, but not intense spice. Amazing variety of noodles. So chewy and delicious. Highlights were the cumin lamb, shrimp dumplings and the knife cut noodles w spicy ground pork. Also the popcorn chicken was addicting. Been visiting family in San Mateo for years but haven’t tried this place before. An instant classic and favorite. We will be back.

Too much hype for a noodle house. Don’t come here if you got a party of 5 or more, you’ll be waiting for a while because of the limited space. The restaurant is really really small, 15 tables max and half of them are 2 seaters. @ $20 a person, there are plenty other restaurants near by.
