I will only be able to Rate & Review my experience at this Papa John's based on the X (-10 visits since Jan. 2023) amount of times I've walked in here to pick up a Delivery (DrDash & UberEats) .I will def say that they have always been Quick & Complete every order they've handed to me without any regrets.I have seen a huge improvement on the Customer Service aspect of the establishment ever since Jan.2023 by NOWADAYS getting greeted w/an inviting smile & welcoming attitude and "Hello or How is it going" vs.a rude "Can I help u.... " or The Chirping of Crickets, etc. from whomever is working the register & handling the hand off.??Thank You !!!!! ??(if U've had an opportunity to see My other reviews YET?)You will notice in "My Top 3" that initial interaction is valued at #1 or #2 because All of Us knows when walking into a restaurant or smaller grocery store and You are NOT acknowledged (within at most 15 sec 's) due to employees too busy mingling amongst each other it is not going to be instant 360 & Exit but it definitely does highly affect the End result of your visit & importantly whether U may or U may not want to revisit going forward.It's unfortunate I do not receive orders more frequently from this PJs (which is centrally located on El Camino w/equally short distance to S.Mateo/FosterCity/S.Carlos).Maybe that'll change soon enough, especially since They are the only one w/fast, reliable, worth the $ versus the other somehow still surviving* restaurants in that one block length Strip. (*My opinion only,not the public)✅Side Notes-?? Dine In not avail. But Quick Pick Up &No Wait delivery w/ DD & UE.?? Variety of beverages & sizes exceeds competition (pizza establishments).?? Friendly Service.?? Receive exactly what ordered.?? Many options for sides.?? Who needs weekly promo flyers & excessive advertising if-"Satisfaction of Hunger is achieved through Quality vs. quantity nor sacrificing fulfilling Taste for blandnesswhile respectively remaining frugal......as We All should !!!"
Vegetarian options: Being that there are many sub categories within this multi-defined word, My rec is to flip through online or call them to narrow down & receive the options accommodating to your personal & customized likings whether vegetarian or restricted from certain meats or allergies to specific ingredients. ??

This creepy store owner(or maybe employee according to other reviews) harasses anyone parking in front of his store and threats to call tow truck, although it is public street parking.

I will never go back to this Papa John’s and you shouldn’t either unless you wanna risk encountering or having your pizza made by this employee who is the literal personification of the word grimey. I pulled up to ask him if I could park in this spot where he was smoking and he proceeded to say no, call me “sweetheart” a few times, and comment on my car/my belongings inside of it like an absolute creep. FYI this location is in a plaza and there is no signage that designates spots for specific businesses.
Per the other most recent review: avoid this place. The employee pictured is a genuine creep. He stands in front of the store harassing passerby’s and chain smoking all day long. This has been occurring for a few weeks now and I have witnessed this happen unprovoked to several other people as well. I couldn’t even imagine letting him prepare my food. Do your self a favor and stay far away. There’s plenty of better pizza in the area anyway.

I ordered pizza for dinner one evening through their app, as many times before. Received confirmation with a 30’ estimated wait time. After 60’ I called to ask what happened and a guy with an attitude told me I should have ordered by phone, that wait times are a lie and that I would get it when I got it. I asked to cancel my order since it was too late for me receive it and he flat out refused. No explanation. Only that app wait times and email wait times are a lie and it’s my own fault for believing they were accurate. It’s sad. We used to order every week on pizza night and now have had to switch. The worst customer service I have ever encountered
