My wife and I have brunch here almost every weekend. We like this place because all the dishes are freshly cooked and delicious, staff is friendly, and parking is easy

This restaurant has Beijing-style local dishes hard to find anywhere else, and for that, I have to give their food high marks. The jianbing (weekend only) is simple and authentic, and we got some other breakfast items (糖火烧 is hard to find and tastes like the ones my mom makes, but sweeter). The shredded pork with bean sauce (京酱肉丝) has been one of my favorites in the past but the flavor is a bit off this time, more like standard Chinese restaurant shredded pork with perhaps not enough sweet bean paste.
Service is extremely friendly and generous. We have a whole meal leftover for the price of one.

Looking for northern style Chinese food that’s casual, home-y, and comforting? Then you should probably check out Peking Alley.
The food is authentic and simple. The portions are generous. The prices are still reasonable.
On weekends they have jianbing and you can even ask to have it with youtiao rather than the usual crisps.
If I’m being honest, I feel like the quality has slowly started to slip over the years, especially since they changed location. The new place also lacks the charm. That being said, it’s still a solid option.
Service is always friendly but has been extremely slow, especially as of late. The food is always slow to come out, too. Similarly, when we’ve done pick up orders, the food has never been ready within their estimated time, too often taking even twice as long as the originally quoted time.
They have their own parking lot in the back which is a plus.
Overall, while it may not have the same charm as prior years, Peking Alley offers solid northern style Chinese cuisine, especially on weekends.

Excellent food. Friendly staff.
Lovely small restaurant with brilliant services. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The food was authentic.
Authentic and delicious food! The owners are also extremely nice and friendly, highly recommend.
Wanted to try something new and checked out this restaurant for northern Chinese cuisine. We got the scallion pancake with beef, jianbing with fried dough, and mayonnaise shrimp. The scallion pancake with beef was really good with the sauce and the cucumbers, the mayo shrimp had too much flour but the pieces of shrimp were very large, the jianbing was good but the fried dough was so large that it filled us up fast. The staff was super nice, the portions were very big but the flavors could be better.

Great experience. This restaurant relocated to ElCamino a few months ago, but I hadn't been there for a long time.
The food was delicious. We tried the Veggie Chow Fun and Kung Pao Beef. The meal came out and smelled as devine as it tasted. We will go back to try some other dishes.

They offer their place for a known serial scammer to sell food w/o license and permit. The scammer is streaming on Chinese local platform, where the comments praise him for “scamming the stupid bay area ppl”. Owner of the restaurant has on site all time and clearly know they have been chased around. Scammer announced that he will move to next station once “the resource in Bay Area runs out”. Very disappointed and disgusting. Can‘t trust on this place for food safety anymore.

This small restaurant serve unique fresh noodles and seems like home made food all prepared as family food. I liked all of them even though it is different from Cantonese food. The black noodles was very good and the soft tofu was delicious. Even though it says pork black noodles it is very little meat on the serving. I suppose the meat are on the dumplings, which had a unique flavor in a good way…

Pancake fruit weekend?
I have always missed the fried pancakes in the north, and I tried them here. However, the "fly in the ointment" is that there are shrimps in it. Maybe it is to cater to the local tastes, but it doesn't seem so authentic.
