Had the best pizza of my life in Santa Cruz (Pizza My Heart) but, the recipe was a bit different here. The ingredients or the way the baked it didn't have the same harmonious effect, however it was still delicious with all the whole garlic slices. Still a fantastic pizza. Definitely recommend the "The Big Sur". The whole garlic slice will change your life.

We decided to venture out of our usual pizza spots & give this place a try. We got our food delivered in less than 30min & were exited to dig in. The cheese bread not only looks delicious but tasted just as good as it looks. The pizza looked just as good but unfortunately didn't taste as great. The issue was the dough, it was thought if that makes any sense. Perhaps the dough was over worked? If it wasn't for that, this pizza would've been great as I really did enjoy the flavor of the sauce. I can't say that I'll be back but at least I gave it a try.

On a recent visit, I discovered that while making my large Pizza, the tomato sauce is squeezed as a bead around the pizza about a 1/4-3/8 wide [like writing on a cake]. Traditionally or typically, it is poured onto the pizza and spread entirely with the ladle. I know this bc, I worked at a pizza restaurant. I asked if that is how they always have done it, and the girl replied [qestionaby] with a "yeah?" Now, if it was a confident yes, then I would figure they found a hack...but I think the pizza lacked the tomato flavor and taste. So, it's 2oz instead of 6-7oz, but a lot of flavor missing, to me? so for that, I can only give it two stars, good luck guys!

Lukewarm pizza and cold attitude for $7 per slice. Had to ask for napkins, red pepper, utensils. Don't ever go here.

I'm here on 12/15/23 around 5 pm and I had a bad customer service experience at the san mateo pizzamyheart. The food looked great, I was ready to enjoy a great slice, listen to some music and chill for a minute. I wanted to order a few slices. However, the woman working the counter said "I'll be right with you" and then ignored me for several minutes. At this point I am so hungry... there were no customers. Just me, 4 pizza makers and this lady that was focused on rearranging the pizza boxes. So I left. I hope that the owners see this. I am in no mood for a confrontation or to scold someone for bad customer service. I will simply let my dollars do the talking and let people know. Owner of pizzamyheart, you need to talk to this rude person.

Wide selection of tasty pizzas, and some very creative combos in addition to the traditional toppings. Wings are also good. Service was horrible though, probably because it was Halloween and 20+ Doordash drivers were coming and going with no one at the cashier trying to maintain a semblance of order. Ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes for my food because of the chaos, and no one explained what happened (despite the fact everything was pre-ordered online).
Oh we were so hungry and didn't have anything to cook - no one wanted to go to the store - decided to order pizza - 2 large - one with ham and pineapple and one with half pepperoni, half with pepperoni sausage olives and mushrooms - they came earlier than predicted thank goodness and we mowed them down before I could get a picture - we only have a few pieces left - I just ate one for breakfast - cold of course - happy with the flavor, the crust thickness (medium), and flavors and the amount of pineapple - more than other places - a lot more - I was so happy with that! So happy we didn't have to make my clean kitchen dirty and had an easy yummy dinner. The photo is from this morning - yummy cold pizza for breakfast! Look at the amount of pineapple on there!!
