Food is delicious and they are generous with the servings. We had two medium poke bowls for me and my husband, and a kids poke bowl for our toddler. The food presentation was beautiful and it was takeout. We will definitely go back to this delicious place.

Decent food but standoffish staff.

Me and my partners favorite poke place, all the locations are great, and the spam and crab bowl is a great go to if you don't like raw fish.

My 93-year old mom loves the poke bowls from this place. In some senses, this is the only thing you need to know. My sister and I try to keep my mom happy as at her age, there isn't a ton of things she does. She really enjoys these poke bowls, that's for sure.I get her the house salmon bowl, and request they hold off on the sriracha aioli (a little too spicy for her palate), and the "medium" size bowl is large enough to serve as 2.5 meals for her. For me, it's too big for one sitting, so it's sort of lunch and dinner for me.Service has always been warm greeting, happy to see me there, always accommodating to any requests I have. New franchises seem to be opening up - there's a new one in the East Bay near to where I live that is coming soon. But this one in San Mateo is the go-to for a meal (or two) for my mom, and for that I am grateful.

I was originally coming in for Chipotle tonight and saw this a few stores down so I was excited to give this joint a try and I was not disappointed. There was one other customer being helped so I looked impatient for a few minutes. It's day two of ordering a poke bowl so I was already craving more deliciousness tonight. I ordered the "Build your bowl of 3 scoops of protein". I choose white rice as the base with garlic oyster tuna + spicy miso salmon and tako (oyster). Plus the server said my bowl came with a free scoop of the crab salad. Yesss!I asked for all the topics except the sliced almond bits. I had the sweet unagi sauce and then some of the spicy chili sauce to go in the mix (Sriracha Aioli Spicy). I couldn't be more happier that Malia was extremely friendly and accommodating-- she answered my questions and served me quickly. I don't think I noticed her weigh my bowl like others have described in their ratings. And if Malia did, it was done quickly before my eyes. Took my bowl home and inhaled my dinner- everything was fresh and delicious! Will definitely return to this location to try their other items on the menu

I was very mad at the male staff for his really bad attitude to us and lack of responsiveness. He was grumpy and obnoxious. I didn't want to go there again. He was working on Sunday afternoon. He ignored my order and was asking for the next person's toppings, and when I asked him to handle his own, he came to me very angry. He was completely focused on his own efficiency and didn't care that we were waiting! The female stuff was really really really nice on the other side with him which is also ironic. The food was okay. The source of mixer of sesame oil, soy sauce and Unagi sauce was surprisingly nice, should try.

After seeing great reviews, we decided to stop at this place. We love poke and have it around once a week. I would rate it 3.5 stars. We ordered 3 pick your own medium bowls and a miso soup to bring home. It comes with 3 scoops of fish. The amount of food is decent. Not a ton for us like some reviews suggested. A teenager in our group finished her bowl in one sitting. The amount of fish was less than a few other places in the area (see picture). They measure the fish before serving but the scale is turned towards them so you don't know how much is being given. And it looked like each scoop had a little different amount. I certainly got less salmon than my husband got his tuna. The topping choices are great though! So are the dressing choices. I ordered the two types of salmon and the oyster garlic tuna, only salmon and the last bowl with 3 types of tuna. The fish tasted fresh and the flavored ones were perfectly seasoned. The woman serving my husband messed up on the dressing and wanted to throw the whole bowl away to get him a new one without asking him. We stopped her from doing that as we hate wasting food and told her to add the dressing he asked for on the top. The man serving me then said my husband had mentioned a different dressing instead which wasn't true. He didn't seem very pleasant. Worst thing was the miso soup. At almost $5, I didn't expect them to pour the soup out of a drink dispenser looking thing and only adding a little tofu and green onions and no seaweed. The quantity was a tiny cup. I was so shocked at the size that I said it out loud and the customer after me also agreed that it was too expensive for the size! Overall, taste was good. But for the price, I would expect a bit more fish and a much larger soup cup. Few tables inside the restaurant if you want to eat inside and also some outside.

I was just there to check it out, but luc recommended me the Spicy Miso Salmon, so I ended up getting a medium make your own and it was SO FREAKING GOOD !! The staff was friendly, food was great, and the resturant was clean. I would recommend this place for everyone, cause I was just in there to check it out, and left with a great meal!

I came in today and ordered a tuna lover bowl. It was so delicious. The store is very open and bright and has a very cute touch to it. Not only that but the service I had today was amazing. This blonde girl, I believe her name was Mia was helping me decide what to get and her decision of the tuna lover was amazing! Highly recommend poke house if your looking for an amazing experience and delicious food!!

My new favorite poke spot! I randomly stumbled upon this place after finishing my grocery shopping at the nearby Whole Foods. This was my first time visiting Poke House and a very kind worker named Malia helped me with my order. She was very welcoming and helped me through the process of building my own bowl step by step! I like this place a lot because there are so many mix in options, much more than other poke places I've visited! A little pricey, but for the amount and quality of fish you get it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

The poke house is great. Amazing portions and very friendly service. Malia is always very kind and helpful. I actually look forward to seeing her there! This is super close to Whole Foods so I always come here after I shop. It's not the cheapest but the quality is great and the ambience is very nice too! My fave is the spicy tuna and Scottish salmon!
