This is what I got when I ordered a patty melt...over cooked beef and no cheese. This is not my first time, but it is my last.

This isn't really a single restaurant, this is a one-stop shop for quite a few restaurants. My favorites are Rooster and Rice (really simple chicken and rice dishes with a delicious broth) and East Side Bahn Mi (caramel pork vermicelli bowl is awesome). I've found the food selection more limited compared to if you went to the actual restaurants themselves, but quality is great for what they do have. It is a little on the pricey side, so you're paying a bit for this variety. Interior is a cool place, with a few seats that are a nice place to wind down. Seating is super limited, as most of the expected business is takeout. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and have given me multiple recommendations I didn't think I'd like, but I changed my mind on. Overall a staple of downtown SM that I go back to quite often.

Eh. Not thrilled with the lack of proper tamper proof packaging on an ubereats order.

Food is great, service is better, ambience you can't beat - time is amazing and food is great! you can't beat the experience both virtually and in the shop. will be back soon!!!

We just ordered for the first time. My son enjoyed his food from the melt. It looked good. My daughter's banh mi was crust knt ueboutside and soft ont wh inside. She said it was delicious. My plantain burrito was pretty good. The tortilla was soft. The disappointment came with my husbands beef kabob plate from Oren's hummus. To be frank, it was almost inedible. I can see from other pictures of the same dish, that he got less meat (they chopped into several pieces maybe ti make ot look more significant?)the meat was so dry and just burnt on one piece. It was $18 and it was just terrible. They were doing a fundraiser for my daughters school, so I'm adding a star for their generosity. MAYBE I'd order again but definitely not from Oren's hummus.

I do not recommend the Rooster & Rice plates. If you've had them from another location like Redwood City, this is much lower quality and smaller in quantity of both chicken and rice. The chicken is dry and tough, almost like maybe it was frozen and reheated. It was also cut oddly and there were little scraps and a random chunk of bone cartilage that almost made it look like it was leftovers or something. However, the sauce is consistent at least.

If you're looking for the real little chihuahua burritos you won't find the same quality here at "the noshery". The TLC in SF is way better. We also ordered some chicken and rice and it was tasteless and bland. Cookies we ordered for dessert were like hockey pucks and hard! Worst part of all, the front desk is directly next to the seating area so you're stuck with the employees talking and staring while you're trying to eat. Maybe we'll try again in the future because they do have a lot on their menu!

I’m so bummed. I really wanted to like this place. The chicken was so dry. The dark meat was rock hard and the white meat was chalky.

We have ordered both pickup and delivery from this place. It is a bit cheaper to order from the store using their in-store kiosk which is something like McDonald system. The food is not that spectacular. I usually order burger which is delicious, but nothing special. This time around, my wife ordered beef kebab rice bowl which she did not like at all. She said the kebab was bitter. We ordered falafel too which was very disappointing, under-seasoned and very small. They recently added indoor sitting. I think the inside environment is chill and quiet. I probably order again when I want something fast and reliable, but with realistic expectations.

Delivery came fast and food very good! Got a burger, mac and cheese and tomato soup. Would recommend!!

If the bathroom is disgusting, it doesn't bode well for the kitchen. I don't think the toilet and sink have been cleaned in months. Clean your bathroom!

Avoid if you are GF. They were "out of GF options" so I had to get a lettuce wrap (i would have left if eating/buying for just myself but I was with others.) what I got was a disappointing burger patty, drenched in thousand island dressing and on two pieces of soggy lettuce. Needless to say, when lifting the "burger" to my lips, the now runny dressing fell off the soggy lettuce and bending patty to get all over my shirt. How special. Won't be coming back here. Five guys does the lettuce wrap better, and they don't do it well, so that's saying something!

No stars deserved for this place but it won't let you post a story without a star . I'm a (former) regular customer and when I doordashed some cookies this eve, they sent me BURNED Choc chip cookies 4 pack. Inedible. Burned beyond recall. The kind you threw at your brother when mom burned them beyond edibility. I called down there, got shuffled around (no accountability) then got a man named Jorge who insisted all they could do was offer a refund. No attempt to bake a fresh batch and get them to the customer. $25 bucks via doordash to have someone deliver inedible garbage. Complete and utter FAIL Noshery. 4 burned cookies 4 thumbs down

I recently ordered Rooster and Rice at Noshery and it was underwhelming. To begin with, the presentation was a hot mess...it literally looked like the chicken was thrown into the box along with the cucumbers. The rice was soggy (but at least flavorful) and the chicken was extremely dry. We also tried the East Side Bahn Mi and it was soggy and the meat to bread ratio was too high. But I've never had East Side Bahn Mi before so I couldn't compare it to the original but I can confirm that the Rooster and Rice at their stores in SF are WAY better than the one from Noshery.
