Wow! This was my first Hot Pot experience. I loved it! We made a reservation but it was not crowded on a week night in July. We chose Korean BBQ and Hot Pot, about $33/person. I loved the garlic shrimp! We also had steak, pork, and lamb. Get some lettuce wraps for your meats! There is a sauce bar so you can mix and match what sauce you like for the meat as well. I had miso broth with all kinds of things added in: beef meatball, noodles, taro, crab ball, mushrooms, etc.
The meat was fresh and good quality. The side food bar looked canned or like it came from a jar. The fruit was somewhat fresh. The sauces are not labeled, so it's a guessing game. The waiters are quick to come around and give attention. The receipt asking for a $10 , $20, or even $30 Tip is outrageous. Especially if you are the one cooking food. Pay your employees a living wage so they can stop acting like their cooking our food and getting upset when we ask for more portions like it comes out of their check.

Wanted to go out for lunch on Saturday, either ramen or Seapot. Seapot won. Quality of seafood and BBQ quite good. We'll keep returning when we want an excellent meal.
Probably my favorite Seapot restaurant in the Bay. Slightly smaller than the Sunnyvale location, but they offer more variety in terms of side dishes with fruit, dim sum, and other prepared foods.
In terms of meats and soup options, there are so many good ones to choose from. The thai pot is quite unique, but I love the healthy herb. For an AYCE place, the price is very reasonable at $34.
The staff are very friendly, attentive, and the conveyor belt full of sides has lots of options with some delicious mango cake.

I've tried many hotpot places, and compared to others, this one is just okay—the broth isn't the most flavorful. But somehow, I always find myself coming back. I think it's because of the friendly staff, who make the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Another thing I really appreciate is that this is an all-you-can-eat spot with a time limit, I never feel rushed while eating. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great place for family and friend gatherings. It does get pretty packed during dinner time, so it's a good idea to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist before you go.

Seapot is a five-star experience when it comes to service. The meats are tender and delicious, and there’s a wide variety of options on the revolving trays. The only downside is the ice cubes—they leave a strange taste in both sodas and waters, which makes you hesitant to order anything with ice. The toro is really fatty, so if you’re not a fan of that, be cautious. On the bright side, the Thai tom yum soup base is fantastic. I also love their sauce and dessert areas, although the strawberries were super sour. Overall, great spot, just a couple of small tweaks could make it even better.

One of the few times I crave Korean bbq with some wagyu options…. This was questionable for the dinner menu, My wagyu steak came looking pretty sad. I asked for it to be returned, waiter came back with it telling me it’s normal and that it’s not necessary to be red to be considered fresh… I was speechless… I refused to eat it and insisted to send it back. The frozen meats seemed alright… 1 star mainly for the quality and false advertising from their own pictures posted a few days ago. I will stick to the hotpot in the future if I get the munchies and it’s close to my house…Compared to their marketing picture of Wagyu steak… yikes.

It's okay. I don't like limited-time meals. I rush customers before they arrive. The soup base is a bit too salty and I don't need to get the sauce myself.
I have been to Seapot several times before. They have individual hot pot set up, very convenient for people with different dietary needs. All youcan eat menu which for some of us ends up being expensive. I love hot pot so it worth it periodically. Lots of choices for our friends whose vegan. They have k pop playing on a large screen which I was surprised not as irritating but distracting enough which is why they got 3 stars for atmosphere.

Great food but terrible service and vibe. The staff aggressively throw dirty dishes in their tray right next to customers. Used to go so often but couldnt deal with the service anymore.
Its very distracting and noisy. But the food is good if you don’t mind the loud clanking.
