Got take out twice and I would recommend it! Lots of flavor and remind me of the Thai restaurants I'm used to dining at in the East Bay. Prices are great and portions are large. My faves are the pad Thai and pad seeew.

A hole in the wall but what a gem. Great pad Thai, curries, and pad see ewe. Definitely a great place for Thai to go.

Disappointing. Was nothing like the pictures. Even the pictures on yelp seem inconsistent for the same dishes. Was my first time trying this place, but one can only assume things have changed for the worse overtime. The Tom Yum was most disappointing, really lacked the flavor and spices that make authentic Tom Yum special. Tasted like an attempt at Tom Yum soup you would normally find at a low end buffet place.

This place is amazing. My company reached out to Som Tum Station to cater for one of our events, and they went above and beyond. The food was prepared in a way to prevent any kind of spillage during transit, and everything tasted phenomenal. The customer service here was also fantastic. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. It was a pleasure doing business with this restaurant!

One of the BEST I've had, the Thai Basil Fried rice was on point. Eggplant with beef very good as well. I'm already planning my next visit. Very nice people and quick service.

Their pad see yew and dessert roti is what's up. Som Tum has adjusted their menu a bit a few times, but their pad see yew remains just as delicious. I usually get it with chicken but have tried it with the pork belly too. Please set your expectations with the belly as it's not crispy but more like a roast pork. My husband tends to get the Thai fried rice which is laced with white pepper but he rather enjoys it. Som Tum is a no frills take out Thai spot, but it gets the job done. We've had the regular roti appetizer, their curry dipping sauce it a bit on the sweet side, which is very different than what I've had. It's a bit greasy too but hey, it's roti. The dessert roti hit the spot one visit with the light sugar and condensed milk. I'll eventually need to venture out of my comfort zone and try more of their menu, so if you have been and have any suggestions, let me know! One time they gave us a little complimentary cup of a cake. Support this hard working small business when the Thai craving hits.

Best take-out Pad Thai I've gotten anywhere near Burlingame.

We had been coming here and we like the food, but in our last order the quantity was literally half of what we got before. The container is half the size for the green curry and half filled for the basil chicken. I understand costs have increased but if you cut the portion in half you owe to tell your customers. I literally don't have enough food to feed my family and it cost close to $100. Given the relatively high price and new tiny portion size, I can't see myself coming back here.

This place is crazy good. We tried the red curry eggplant, Tom yum seafood soup and the mango sticky rice. The flavors of each dish were distinct from one another and really tasty. All the ingredients tasted fresh. The mango sticky rice had very soft, ripe mangos and delicious gooey black rice. Highly recommend!

Delicious thai food, and I'm vegetarian, so it's perfect. I always ask for less sweet and they are very accommodating. Best of all, very friendly service :)We normally get the pad see ew, green curry, som tum, and/or tom yum soup. all very good dishes!

So good guys. I'm satisfied not just with my food but with the service. I would definitely come back. I ordered yellow curry with chicken and roti with condensed milk to go. Tasty and beyond. I'm a happy camper :)

AMAZING! And I am very picky with Thai food. The most amazing creamy vegan curry (yellow)!

The food here is really good, and big portions too. Came for lunch and got the massaman curry lunch special ($12.95 with beef, comes with a side salad and white or brown rice), chicken pad Thai (13.95), and 24 oz of tom yum soup ($8). Food was ready very quickly, around 15 min, and tasted super delicious and authentic. I especially liked that the pad Thai was not dry and was super flavorful. Will definitely be back to try other things. Note: this is primarily a takeout place. There are two small outdoor tables but no seating indoors.
