I drove 35 minutes to come here because it was the only location that was supposed to be open until 11 pm but we got there at 10:35 pm and they told us they are already closed. I don’t know where they posted that new closing hours but it’s definitely not on google!

This restaurant is actually addicting! I do not live in town, but when I come to visit this is one of my first stops. The line is always out the door for a reason! I highly recommend Somisomi for a delicious, well priced sweet treat.

The taiyaki had very little filling and it was almost empty inside. It is pricy for the content. Why does a simple frozen yogurt cost $4.50 even without toppings?

Just delicious. I ordered an ube soft serve with an Ah Boong (fish waffle) on the side. The Ah Boong is warm and fresh, simultaneously soft and crispy, and the ice cream is flavorful and the perfect amount. I inhaled the entire thing within 5 minutes, it was just that good. The ube soft serve is not the best I've had, but it's still good, and that's probably because of my personal tastes. I think it is worth the price. The location is convenient too, right in Downtown San Mateo! Overall, I will come again. 4/5.
