The best bagel in town. New York bagel on the west coast.

Unfortunately my recent visit was very disappointing. The place was dark and creepy and they didn't seem to be observing any COVID-19 precautions. When I got home I discovered that all of the bagels (I mean, every single one) were stale.

Ordered a bagel and lox. Very poor bagel selection. Very skimpy on lox (for $10). Iceberg lettuce instead of dark lettuce. No tomato. Blah cloud care less service.

Basically zero safety measures for covid. Filthy unwashed door handle. No hand sanitizer. Didn’t wash hands before making order. Grab your own coffee cup, lid and serve yourself coffee and creamer. How many people handled the cups, lids, etc before me. Microwaved egg and soggy bagel. I threw it all away. It must be a front. Impossible to think of anyone going there twice.

Also, check how many health violations they have.

I left without even buying anything. Walked in and the guy behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask. Seriously?

I used to really like this place. But when I went today 5/27, the people working weren't wearing any PPE...isn't that still mandatory in our SIP world? Also, my bagels were a bit stale. It used to be much better.

Hands down the best bagel shop I have ever been too. The turkey bagel is absolutely AMAZING! The atmosphere is quaint. The staff are super friendly.

I should have checked yelp so I wouldn't have to come here. Expensive and cheap quality ingredients thrown together. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and egg, coffee and a milk and I spent over $20 with tip. Wtf. The carton of milk was the kind they sell at Costco for $12 for a box of 18 and here there were charging $4 plus tax for it. Rip off. Only got it because I needed milk for kind otherwise next time I'll just walk to the supermarket next door and buy it. Ok let's talk the bagel. I love carbs and I love cream cheese and a bagel and cream cheese is one of my favorite things but somehow they managed to mess this very simple thing up. The veggie cream was chunky. I mean like uneven chunks of raw veggies in regular cream cheese. It was so gritty and nasty I wouldn't even eat it. Then the egg was just some egg powder or something microwaved in canola oil. At least use butter to make it taste a bit more rich and creamy. Nope it was doused in cheap cooking oil that was so strong not even my not picky eater husband refused to have a second bite. It was bland, tasted fake and oily. I was hoping the bagel itself might be good so I could wipe could wipe off the cream cheese and throw away the egg but no...even that was awful. Tasted stale and dry. I wish we didn't come here and that I checked yelp before ordering. I know have learned my lesson after shelling out $20 into the garbage can

Didn't look at the reviews here, saw a barren bagel shop and still walked in for my love of bagel sandwiches. To begin with $11 including taxes and tip for a veggie no cream cheese bagel sandwich and $3 for a bagel with cream cheese. All that the veggie sandwich came with were a slice of onion, cucumber, tomato and lettuce. Their prices made no sense to me. Even the bagel wasn't as great. Bagel street cafe has a bomb a** veggie sandwich with better and more toppings for a little more than half that price.

Nice coffee shop with plenty of seating and really good pastries. I like the chai tea latte and cheese bagel. Only 4 stars because they have their supplies in the middle of the cafe which disrupts the ambiance. You can see the green hill north of 92 but the boxes are distracting.

I normally don't write reviews, I read them. Never consider even stepping into this establishment. EVER!!! It's a hoarding paradise. You're better off buying your own bagels from Costco. I came in early morning (5:30am) to check this place out. Dark and dingy lighting, the bagels were not out yet, they were slowly taking them out of the plastic bags they were coming in, my guess, from Costco. I bought my self a small coffee, under $2, not bad but all while slowly glancing at ALL of the mountain of "Junk" that should not be present in an eatery, on the floor and behind the counters. The smell inside the bagel place smells like an old house of a hoarder. Reviewing photos I see several years back, still look the same now, or even worse! Save yourself the disbelief of how a bagel shop should look like, and walk down the shopping center to Starbucks where there are standards of cleanliness to say the least!

Unsanitary!! Please do not come here. They touch cash and your food without washing their hands. Not to mention the place is super dirty. Beware!!!

Cream cheese was rotten. Veggie Cream Cheese should never taste sour like Parmesan cheese. And my bagel was barely spread at that. When served, it looked like there wasn't any cream cheese spread on it at all. I opened it up and there was barely anything. When I took a bite it was clear the cream cheese had gone bad. Didn't dare finish eating it. Disappointing.

Closest bagel shop doesn't mean you should go to it! I got a bagel and cream cheese with bacon and a bagel with lox and cream cheese. $15! Pretty shocking for what I got. The bagel with cream cheese with bacon had 2 small pieces of bacon and very little cream cheese. The bagel was toasted too much. I won't go there again. I would driver farther for better quality
