All I got was a regular coffee. They made everyone else’s super complicated drink before mine, and also helped multiple people who got there after me. I was waiting for a regular coffee for like at least 10 minutes. I go to the one by my house and they get it for me right away because it literally takes 10 seconds to put the cup under the machine and let it fill it. Not to mention they had half n half in the oat milk thing, so my coffee is trash now because they didn’t properly label the creamers and I’m drinking hella half n half this morning. I’m the type to mix my half n half n oat milk cause it’s tasty. Anyways, yall need a better system. Just get the coffee immediately when someone orders one like every other Starbucks does.
One the employee is rude and he didn’t take my order in time . Talking to other customers for long . They were 5 other customers standing on the line . There is no proper service given to me . They didn’t even apologize to me for the wait.

There are consistent errors when I order here. Missing food. Wrong type of milk. A cortado, a hot drink by default, was handed to me cold. I was standing in the store when they worked on my order so there’s zero reasons why that happened. Flies are typically buzzing around in the prep area.
I don’t know what is happening at this location but I suggest going to a different one. Downtown San Mateo or Hillsdale. Just avoid this store.

There is no more atmosphere or service with this establishment. Put on top, a crapy cup of coffee and you get the idea.

As a former Starbucks shift supervisor who has worked at multiple locations over the years, I’ve always had a deep empathy for baristas and the challenges of this job. I know what it’s like to be on the floor during a rush, to deal with entitled customers, and to still try to bring kindness to every interaction. That said, I’ve never encountered a Starbucks quite like this one.
Despite living near the Woodlake Shopping Center for a few years now, I actively avoid this location—because not once have they gotten my drink right. I’ve let it slide many times, understanding mistakes happen. But this morning was the last straw.
I placed a simple order and walked a few blocks home, only to find (yet again) that my drink was completely wrong. When I returned and calmly explained my frustration—not just with this visit, but with the consistent issues at this location—the person on register became instantly defensive and argumentative. Instead of simply remaking the drink and moving on, she chose to escalate the situation and talk over me.
What’s worse, I had ordered a falafel wrap because I don’t want meat. My boyfriend ordered the chicken one. They got switched. I ended up taking a bite of chicken before I even realized it. When I tried to bring this up, I didn’t even get the chance—because the person at the register was too busy arguing with me about the drink.
In all my years as a Starbucks employee, I would never have tolerated this kind of behavior on the floor. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s complete disregard for basic decency. I decided not to call the employee out by name, but I hope this serves as a warning: Treat people with respect, and do your job with care.

Small take-out only Starbucks. They have a screen that tracks the progress of your order, which is an interesting concept, but most patrons don’t pay attention to it as they just walk up to the counter and look for their name. Fast service. Large free parking lot.

Absolutely unacceptable that a major coffee chain like Starbucks doesn’t provide a restroom for customers. You expect people to buy drinks but have nowhere for them to go? Ridiculous. Will be taking my business elsewhere!
Waited an hour for a small cup of coffee, Karla and her colleague in a black hoodie didn’t tell me the bathroom code

We bought chai tea latte but they didn’t let us use restroom which is very bad customer service
The cashier is great working super hard along with all the baristas, but the guy doing the food is terribly slow today & a terrible teammate. If it's busy, get moving. Way too passive and quiet, not helping getting food out, missing orders. March 8 2025.
No restoom even for paying customers.

Stopped here for a latte. The place was extremely busy. I had to wait 15-20 mins for my order. I should have ordered ahead. This is a smaller store, with few tables. There were couple of tables outside as well. Parking is not an issue. There is also accessible parking close by
Parking: There was plenty of parking avialalbe.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is Wheelchair accessible

If you only want a drink and order online. That is there only gig. Don’t expect to stop here on the way the airport to use the restroom. Not open to customers. Not friendly, not clean. Might as well have a window only, and pick up outside. A mess inside but crowded
