The cashier is great working super hard along with all the baristas, but the guy doing the food is terribly slow today & a terrible teammate. If it's busy, get moving. Way too passive and quiet, not helping getting food out, missing orders. March 8 2025.
Stopped here for a latte. The place was extremely busy. I had to wait 15-20 mins for my order. I should have ordered ahead. This is a smaller store, with few tables. There were couple of tables outside as well. Parking is not an issue. There is also accessible parking close by

This is a wonderful and well-loved Starbucks. It's on the corner of a block with two schools - San Mateo Adult and Career Education and San Mateo High School - plus the SMUHSD District Office plus Woodlake Condominiums - plus one block from an Elementary School.
