Can't beat Kendo's karaoke list here on Wednesdays and when I say list well pretty much any song you can think of just put it in and mark my words he's got it. The crowd is great too. They had free popcorn last time I was there . The crowd again super great. They have an indoors and then an indoors that looks like your outdoor too. It's like this big patio area but you're kinda still inside. They have great parking too. I choose to park down the street but just saying they have a parking lot .

Been here in San Mateo for a year now. This place is one of my favorites. Service is good, and friendly patrons. Pool tables and karaoke is my jam.

Fun and friendly bartenders, cool outdoor pool table, and they now have a taco truck called El Amigo. Their tacos and pupusas are fire. Be careful if you do not like spicy. I like it but I know there are some of us who do not so just let them know if you do not want your tacos spicy and they will accommodate you. They make everything from scratch. Pupusas and a cocktail on the patio during the summer Yesssss!

Steamies Bar is a hidden gem with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, making you feel right at home. Their wide selection of craft beers make it a must-visit spot for a relaxed evening out.

This place is unpretentious and down to earth. It is a locals bar; a neighborhood spot. If you are looking for super overpriced cocktails in a fancy environment, if you like to drop into casual conversation that you work at a tech company, if you enjoy the bars in Palo Alto, if you like to humble brag that you eat at Michelin star restaurants, I'm not sure this place is for you. We like it just fine. Reasonably priced drinks, very friendly bartender, not too crowded, And apparently I've heard that maybe there's a taco truck on some nights?

Looking for a neighborhood dive bar that has been around probably since before the neighborhood was built well you found it. No food, just be warned, but hopefully Bobby is your bar tender. This young kid has drive and goals and it was so much fun to chat with him on where he came from to where he wants to go. If I had stupid money I would absolutely fund him. His blueberry Moscow Mule (dates drink) was really good, I would never have thought to use blueberry vodka... but there you have it. This is a must stop... Tell him the guy with PTSD from Ft. Benning sent you... he'll know. Cheers.

Good little neighborhood dive. Friendly people and very cold beer makes this a must stop.
