This Subway deserves far more credit than it gets. I’ve stopped by multiple evenings (yes, even close to closing) and the staff have always been kind and incredibly accommodating. They’re patient, respectful, and communicate clearly, even when dealing with customers who walk in frazzled or LAST MINUTE. The female worker, in particular, is always gracious. She takes time with your order, listens carefully, and makes sure everything is prepared exactly how you want it. She even remembers returning customers which is more than you can say about most fast-food chains these days. People love to complain about hours, but honestly? I’d rather staff stay on schedule than deal with someone demanding service five minutes before shutdown. Boundaries matter and this team clearly values a clean, well-organized closing routine. That’s professionalism, not laziness. If you want efficiency, kindness, and sandwiches made with actual care, come to this location.

This Subway is a complete joke. Hours say they close at 10 p.m., but I came at 9:30 TWO days in a row and they flat out refused to serve me because they’d already “cleaned up.” If you stop serving at 9:30, then change your hours… don’t waste people’s time.
On top of that, the staff here can barely communicate in English, especially the female worker, which makes ordering a nightmare. They even admitted the store closes at 10, but still choose to shut down early. Lazy, unprofessional, and misleading.
If you actually want food when you show up, avoid this location at all costs.

The ladies in morning/ lunch make a pretty terrible job, if a Sandwich is 2x cheese I do not know why they save cheese - do they get paid extra by making it smaller. And it’s really hard to communicate with them.

I am a regular customer here and I usually buy sub on my way home. But, it is been a month that the service is failing. The new staff ( I think his name is Kelvin ). His service is the worst. I understand the fast food store are usually busy and I am a normally a chill guy. But that guy seems unhappy about his job. He looks disappointed whenever the customer or the order come in. And he is always talking something in other language while doing the order. And he is dirty. He doesn't change the gloves or wash his hand. Also, he has a strong odor, I think it is a problem with his hygeine. If the store management see this review, you guys should do something about him. Or you are going to lose the customer.
The store didn’t take mail coupons and wouldn’t put the coupon code manually. The sandwich was not worth a regular price

I felt rushed ordering my sandwich. There were only 3 people in the establishment (me and my family). The customer service is not what I expected. It is way below standards. No smile, no friendly attitude. Just rushed with a bit of an attitude. (Male employee who started my order). The woman employee had a better attitude, and I felt had better customer service. For an establishment that had barely any customers, I would expect a much better experience.

The staff barely speaks English. No sub of the day offerings, no wifi, no hand wiping paper in the toilet, no mirror and dirty in the bathroom. We purposely went a dozen miles out of our way to eat at Subway, knowing the standards of this chain. Unfortunately, in this establishment a big disappointment - I do not recommend. Too expensive for these standards.
I’ve gone to this subway a few times, pretty clean and nice interior, but service was really weird? I asked for normal salt and pepper and got like the whole can. Needless to say it tasted weird. The first few times I have gone it was great and service was perfect, but recently something changed.
Parking: In a mini mall and has lots of free parking
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they let kids play around.

Got a stale cold churro that left a horrible after taste - an I only took one bite. It was so bad I left this review. One more complaint - the person who made the sandwich ignored my request for extra cheese (said multiple times) because he was in a rush. Just acted like he did not hear it.
I go to this subway once a month an after I always ask myself why I did that again. ( The old one in down town San Mateo was so good! ) Miss having a consistent subway around.

Vegetarian options: My favorite is the veggie patty .I often got them when I was a vegan for many years.all fresh veggies fresh baked bread completely delicious. Add fresh avocado ...yum!
