I used to say “never Taco Bell,” to my kiddos, but, Carlos at the San Mateo El Camino Taco Bell changed my mind. My kids ordered the most ridiculous customizations you can imagine, and somehow everything came out perfect. They were thrilled, which means I was thrilled. Shoutout to Carlos for turning “never Taco Bell” into “can we go back to Taco Bell?” If Carlos ran all Taco Bells, I’d be living off of chalupas (and whatever my kids don't eat, obviously, w/ their Taco Bell customizations).

I've been an avid Taco Bell eater and this place didn't disappoint. Coming from the San Mateo fair, we were hungry and ate some here—fast service with music and a few people around 3pm on Sunday. We gave them special instructions and they listened! I'm glad because we have an order tailored to what we like, and they make it to our liking for which we are very thankful for. Would recommend for those who are passing by and want tacos.

This Taco Bell is our go to post 24 Hour Fitness workout, as it is right around the corner. Overall, this is a cool Taco Bell that stays open pretty late and the inside is nice with friendly staff.
On 3 separate occasions recently, however, when I get soda out of the machine, there's been black particles in my drink. This has been with the Mountain Dew and Gatorade, so I am assuming the machine is not being cleaned. Hope they see this and do something about it because you can't eat Taco Bell without a Baja Blast drink!

The store staff is very rude, terrible customer service, one asks things and they never answer anything, it is always as if they do not care about the customer's opinion and they answer in a bad way and one is left dissatisfied with their attention.

I would give 5 stars but my order could be hot and grilled. I think they are skipping the part where they grill/flat iron the flatbread tacos.
Positive is they are super fast so, it kind of evens out. I do like getting my food and leaving, giving me a good experience at Taco Bell here. The staff is also awesome they are funny, and friendly.
No drive thru. Once inside, you have to place your order at a kiosk. The place was empty and still very slow service. I asked for napkins, and the young lady acted as if she didn't hear me, yet she saw me standing at the counter waiting. I got tired of waiting, so I left with no napkins. The food was cold. I will not return. This "FAST" food chain is a hassle.
