We were pinched for time and needed to get something fast, without resorting to fast food, tried to get into another Mexican place that was slammed with an hour wait, and thanks to AppleMaps, happened upon this place--decided to take a chance. And let me tell you: you could do a helluva lot worse. The place was full of what seemed like locals, prices decent, no paper menu, just read off the board, a patio in the corner, and on a beautiful day, it'd be perfect. We got their chicken enchiladas and vegetarian crispy tacos, with a side of refried beans and rice--no the plates don't come standard with it. Was it the best ever and would I write home about it? No. But like I said, I've had a lot worse, so these hard working people seem like they're cooking from the heart.

Here is a picture of the carne asada "quesadilla" I ordered. We ordered about $80 of food and let's just say it was not worth it. I should have checked the reviews before ordering here. I think this place is a chain, and everyone of the restaurants are terrible.

Ordered a bowl, paid around 12$ and they served us a kids portion meal. I asked the owner again is this correct they said this is what we serve. Do a favor drive 5 mins to chipotle and enjoy your meal

Terrible food. Ordered the Tortas and came with just lettuce and semi cooked chicken for $12. Guacamole was not added though it was supposed to be and had one measly piece of tomato. Not coming back here!

I went there a few times right after it opened, and I can say that the food wasn't bad. It wasn't stunning either. Today, my staff and I have indigestion Here's what I found in my serving of Basket Salad with Chicken. This is not chicken! Unless it's the size of an ostrich. If I wanted tripe, I would order Menudo. Do you have a lot of Menudo left from yesterday? Does the cook not know that tripe heated in hot fat becomes hard? I almost broke my teeth. Did you see the Quarter? How big is the triple?

Had the meaty fries and this place has nothing on the original... definitely not worth it. Fries tasted old or they nuked it in the microwave smh.

Asked for a side of avocado. Cashier said it would be $4! I can buy an entire avocado for $2.50 at the grocery store. And the online order price for a side of avocado is $2.30. What gives?

Mall food at it's best!! We used to go to Tacos El Grullense when it was just a food truck. Glad to see their offerings at the mall now!! Hubs got a Super Chicken Burrito on Saturday and I got the California Burrito-Carnitas as my choice of meat. My husband loved the Super Chicken and said it was tasty and huge esp. after we went clothes shopping and had a lot to think about, LOL! I told him what made it special was the grilled tortilla on the outside. That really makes a difference! Sunday I got the Cali Carnitas Burrito which was probably about 2 lbs, LOL!! It had french fries and nacho cheese sauce added inside so this bad boy was HEAVY and HEARTY! A guy saw me uncovering the burrito and asked if I was going to eat it all by myself and I said I'd be in a food coma if I did and that I usually only eat half of a burrito! He commented "Yeah, you'd probably sleep for about 10 hours!!" LOL!! I unwrapped the foil and started on one end. I did end up having to kinda suck in the sauce while eating the burrito and almost got a fork to help me out. The french fries were tasty and Nacho Cheese sauce worked really well. I didn't even need any salsa sauces on the side since it was that good. I tried 2 of the sauces given since I did request mild sauce and sour cream on the side. I was given a red sauce on the side, initially when I picked up my to-go bag but no sour cream nor "mild sauce" was given so I had to go back. Both the red sauce and green mild(?) sauce was spicy, FYI. I can take some spice but both were too spicy for me. When I started eating my burrito, I realized there were beans and I forgot to omit them. I even forgot to see if they had refried or black beans?I grew up on Bay Area humongous & tasty burritos so they definitely delivered. Service was a bit confusing because the clerk who rung me up barely understood me. When I requested sour cream on the side, he put "no sour cream" on the register. When I asked for no onions, he put "No Onions, No Cilantro" on the order as seen on the receipt. When I asked how the receipt was itemized, he didn't understand me and looked to the female clerk next to him who replied in English. I just wanted to verify what I was paying for since I saw he put "No Sour Cream" on the register when I told him I wanted it on the side & I clarified it. Somehow it was put back on the ticket but wasn't included in my bag. I just got ice in a cup because there's a filtered water dispenser in the opposite wall facing the street. Anyway....I didn't finish my burrito but ate more when I got home.

Very good!My husband and I shared the Chile rejeno plate and the birria tacos, both flavorful and really delicious. Chile rejeno is the stuffed bell pepper with cheese and then deep-fried. It comes with rice and refried beans. Absolutely balanced, not greasy, and with a generous amount of cheese. The tacos birria comes with this delicious dipping sauce (the birria) that make the tacos super moist and velvety once dipped in.I didn't find the portions small, like I have read in other reviews, not sure if it depends on what you order.I'm planning to come back again soon and try literally the entire menu, one visit at a time!Service is super friendly, and the location is just easy to reach and easy to park.Recommended!

Considering this was in a mall food court, had an excellent pork carnitas crispy taco where the meat was juicy and super tasty.

Food: 4 starsFact that they don't make mobile orders until you get there: 0 stars. They've done this consistently.Very little point to ordering ahead and veery frustrating when you're in a rush
