The silky mango with honey bubba was average, a bit too sweet. The strawberry matcha was okay, too little strawberry syrup and too much milk and matcha.
Great spot for late night boba. Marilena was friendly and helped me pick a great custom drink I wouldn't have thought of. It hit the spot. Thanks!
I recently tried the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea from Teaspoon SM, and it did not disappoint! The tea was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed—not too sweet, but just the right balance to highlight the creamy milk flavor. The boba pearls were soft, chewy, and fresh, adding that perfect bit of texture with every sip.
Love their honey boba!!
Ordered a Matcha Royale and was basically given a green-tinted whole milk. I’ve never had such a bad matcha, they just pour some milk into a cup and send out my order. The closing staff is obviously lazy and has no sense of quality control. Next time, look me in the eye when I call you out.
What I ordered, and what I received. No matcha flavor at all, just milk. This place is going down hill.
Told us after we ordered that they didn't have boba and could not give us a refund... Had to wait 20 mins for them to make more
The worst drink i’ve ever had, please don’t come here.
If you’re stopping by, make sure you find Emmy she makes the most amazing drinks I’ve ever had! Seriously, she’s got some kind of magic touch. But even more than that, Emmy is hands-down the best employee in the entire store. She’s kind, fast, and always remembers your order with a smile.
Oh and no big deal but she also nonchalantly saved my kid from a fire. Yep, a literal fire. So whether you’re thirsty or need a superhero, Emmy’s your girl. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My mom and I were here to try the Ube Vietnamese Coffee and Vietnamese Frappuccino. The boss and the Vietnamese Bobarista were so friendly and helpful. They even mentioned Downtown San Mateo Boba Day on Sunday from 12 to 3 PM. This Boba place was a random but pleasant discovery for us. We will be back to try more of their toppings!

I usually order door dash from Tea spoon redwood city. But decided to try at San Mateo. Here much bettef
I ordered roasted tea with creama with honey bubble and less ice. At first they gave me roasted tea with creama and with extra ice. And after I told them they made it wrong, they gave me roasted tea with boba and less ice. It was a really disappointing experience!!
So expensive and horrible. It tasted like water. Not worth it.
Like the seasonal drinks. Lady recommended something I won't even try spelling. It was good. I'll go again.
