Thank you for being open mornings!!! Drinks run sweetI'm so happy I can get my drink BEFORE work. There are a dozen boba places downtown and Teaspoon is the only one open early enough I can get cold brew coffee for my coworkers and boba tea for meI'm a fan of the Liquid gold, fresh cucumber lychee, and the random seasonal offerings that come and goSilky Strawberry and Silky Mango come with boba and are caffeine free**This Teaspoon location does NOT take loyalty points. Can't use the teaspoon app to order, instead use:https://teaspoon-sanmateo.square.site/

Our friends in Bay area suggested this place and it’s absolutely worth visiting. This place has the best mango bubble tea. It was so refreshing and felt like summer on a tall cup. The caramel bubble tea was average when compared to mango flavour. The service was quick and the ambience was decent. I would recommend the silky mango bubble tea here.Vegetarian options: Bubble teaDietary restrictions: DairyParking: Across the road

Awful Place. Boba was half cooked, floury and inedible. I even ordered extra Boba, wow thanks for wasting my money.

I love this boba shop! This place opens pretty late night which is nice for me. Most of the time, I order 75% of sweetness and that always brings the perfect flavor! Service is friendly. If you order it at 75% sugar content, it seems to have just the right sweet taste. I haven't tried many menus, but it's nice to be able to customize it to suit myself with the make your own menu.

My family of four all ordered different bobas, and they were all disgusting. Go literally ANYWHERE else.

first, the strawberry sangria tastes like jam water. i paid $1.20 to add boba, and there’s like only 10 in my drink. and the macaroon is literally still cold and hard from the freezer it came from. it also tastes gross. my money is better off going to a charity than this.

This is an ok spot to grab a quick boba. The drinks are a lot sweeter than what I normally would expect from other boba places so you might want to ask them to reduce the sugar. The biggest draw back was the straw. It is not plastic and I understand why they would want to help the environment by finding an alternative. What they are currently using is not the answer though. Both my wife and I went through more than one straw while finishing our drinks and if you aren’t really careful they will crack. If you are going to use a plastic cup with a plastic lid you might as well use a plastic straw. Also they no longer serve shaved ice at this location.

Coming here on a weekend, the area was very busy but we were lucky to find parking nearby. There wasn't much of a line and they prepared our drinks quickly so we didn't have to wait long either. The inside is small and very limited seating (I only saw one table for two in the back) so I wouldn't come here expecting to stay long - definitely a quick grab and go.The menu is projected on a big screen against the wall; I don't know if it's a screen issue or projection issue but the fonts were blurry and hard to read. They do have a printed menu by the counter where you order but the menu is massive! They have a wide variety of fruit teas and milk teas so be prepared to take a while to decide what you want if you are indecisive like me! I ended up getting the Black Sugar Assam - I initially asked for 50% sweetness but they only allow 'regular sweet' or 'less sweet' (maybe specifically for this drink). I asked for less sweet - it was still sweet but I think it balanced out well with the black tea. Very creamy and rich! The boba was soft and chewy which I liked.
