A friend recommended this place..never knew deans produce had a deli.first time I went ,I ordered ace of clubs and oh damn it was good asf lol..my fave actually so I always get ..lots of meat and fresh. I definitely recommend this place to you as well.you will not be disappointed.

Solid sandwich and great customer service. I recommend either the herbivore or the herbivore with low salt turkey. They also make a pretty damn good chicago style deli sandwich.

Deli counters inside of independent grocers are the best. Small footprint but big service, the ace comes through. Tasty boars head meat and fresh bread. OPEN DURING COVID M-F 10-2. seriously tho check them out.

Mario makes the best sandwiches! My girls are sometimes picky and often get the basic sandwich. Mario took the time to ask my youngest wha she likes and made her a fantastic roast beef sandwich. My oldest is a fan of thanksgiving and Mario had a sandwich right up her alley. I cannot stop thinking about the Central Park sandwich... but will be on a quest to try a different sandwich each time I come. Do yourself favor and get a great sandwich!

I had never been to the Palo Alto location so the Dean's Produce location was my first try of Mario's famous sandwiches a little more than a year ago. He hasn't disappointed me in all my trips there! The sandwiches always so good and all of the ingredients he uses are the best. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! My fave is the Ace of Clubs.
Been following on social media for a while and decided to give it a try today. Could not have been more satisfied. Great costumer service and GREAT sandwich. Will 100% be going back soon to try something else. It was very difficult to choose as everything looked so good. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!!

As many have mentioned, this place is easy to miss unless you're looking inside Dean's Produce. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and helpful. First time there? Have a sandwich you usually like? No problem. He's got a recommendation for you. I ended up with the Montague, which contained loads of salami, mortadella, pastrami -- basically, all the healthy ingredients -- on dutch crunch. The dutch crunch bread was super soft and didn't break the roof of my mouth and the sandwich somehow stayed in one piece throughout. All signs of a well made sandwich. To top it off, it was $10 and was way more than enough to keep me full. Definitely going to stop by here when I'm in the mood for a tasty sandwich!

Got the ace of clubs and a Reuben. Awesome bread, toasted to a perfect crisp. Tasty and worth coming back for. Huge sandwich, half a sandwich is too much for my 9yo. Will have to save the Reuben for later. I'm bookmarking this place!
