Husband loves this place, gave it a try. Ordered for pickup. Which is a warehouse with food lockers, a scary and dirty waiting room for delivery drivers and a computer system to log your order. I tried to type my name as it asked, couldn’t find my order. Tried to call the number provided got a voice mail. The “attendant” at the desk had a sign that said “we’re not here but will be back” I waited 8 minutes, no assistance until the attendant walks by me to put food in a locker and asked if I needed help. When I said yes, he informed me, in a very sarcastic tone, my food was in locker 11.I got my food. It was mediocre at best.

I'm surprised at the comments, I think My chicken bowl is great! Ask for extra sauce or add a pinch of sriracha but it's a great healthy bowl that taste like home. I like!

Ordered on Uber Eats and never got my food. If they are that busy, they shouldn't put the estimate for 10-20 minutes.

My wife said don't ever order here again. And why else are you ordering healthy unless your wife wants it? It's not a restaurant. It's like a warehouse door dash set up. It's not good. It's not "heaps of fresh vegetables" as they say. Their wagyu isn't good. Their chicken is bland. Their greens are ice berg lettuce. I think the menu was designed by the auto body shop next door.

Delicious and healthy! Perfect meal for lunch or dinner. The food was flavorful, fresh, and portioned well. I'll definitely be returning again.

I decided we would try Umami Express for our Friday company lunch at work today. The bowls looked enticing on Uber Eats. The Wagyu Beef Green Bowl was my bowl (or should I say box) of choice and the Coconut Greens drink was my chosen libation.I was very satisfied! The ingredients were fresh and the garlic sesame soy sauce on top with the Szechuan Chili Oil Crunch was a perfect combo. Flavors were all intact and my taste buds were happy! They automatically put sauces on the side which is perfect. I enjoyed the lightly sweetened Coconut Greens drink and would repeat this refreshment.Overall, I asked around and everyone liked their bowls whether pork, chicken, or wagyu beef- on rice or greens. It appears Unami Express is new on the scene and probably worked out their kinks since the earlier reviews.I guarantee we will be ordering again for Friday company lunches and likely for my own personal cravings!

Felt a little bit mislead by the reviews on Uber Eats. We ordered the chicken rice and cabbage bowl, chicken rice bowl, and the pork shoulder rice and cabbage bowl. Although the portion sizes were reasonable, all the food was bland. It tasted like the same base for all 3 but with a different protein on top. Quite disappointed. Would not have gone if Uber Eats wasn't running a deal.

Wagyu rice bowl: Bland food, no flavor; good portion size, no taste of anything; uncooked and unseasoned vegetables; waste of money, lost a costumer!

Ordered delivery from this place because it looked delicious and there was a BOGO special for the pork shoulder, rice, and cabbage bowl. Also ordered the Wagyu beef rice bowl, which was delish! The garlic sesame soy was flavorful along with the Szechuan chili oil crunch. The reason for the 2 stars is because the pork bowls had less than half the amount of meat that the Wagyu bowl did. Is this because the pork bowl was BOGO? I understand one bowl was free, but that doesn't mean each bowl should get wayyyyy less protein than the bowl that was being paid full price for.
