Uncle Tetsu | Japanese Cheesecake

Good cheesecake of course ! This location has not-so-good customer service. I ordered a foam green tea and requested less tea and more space for the foam. The lady looked at me and nodded but prepared their usual. When I pointed out that I had asked for more space for foam she just shrugged and said “next time”….. almost sounded like “better luck next time dude”

Very nice cheesecake store. We had 2 cheese tarts, and two cheesecakes, and I found the tarts to be particularly amazing! I think they were short staffed when we visited, as one of the employees was making teas, and working the register at the same time, which meant we were waiting in line for a while. Would recommend, as it is a delicious treat in the mall! THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH!!

Came here on a Sunday around 6. The girl working had her earbuds in and was cleaning. No help. We left. Came back this Friday night around 6/7. Same girl. Ear buds in. No greeting. Had to ask if she was open. She sai yes. That’s it. Yes. Had to ask if I could order. She said she was fulfilling orders and proceeded to ignore me. 3 mins later she asked what we wanted. Horrible customer service. Doesn’t align with the values this company has posted on their register. Consider teaching this girl some skills. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Cakes were fine. Won’t be back solely because of this worker.

Usually, I liked the cheesecakes a lot. But this time I didn't have a good time there. The sever didn't look nice. She didn't even look at me when I went there. It was about 1 pm, 06/03/2024. I don't know how people like her can work in the kind of places. Mad!

This is located in the food court area of hillsdale mall. The basque cheesecake is easily one of the best I have had. Even the Japanese cheesecake is super light fluffy and delicious. The tarts are great as well. I have tried almost every single flavor they sell. They also sell tea and some other beverages but I have not had the chance to try any of these. Their cakes and tarts are top notch though

The original cheesecake (neither too sweet nor heavy) and cheese tart (although a bit heavy) were pretty good. plenty of space to sit.

One of our family's favorite dessert places. The cheesecake is spongy, light and very tasty. They have multiple flavors, including seasonal ones.

I meant to order a tart, but this big thing was good. You can only eat so much of it at a time.
