Most Asians come here just to buy cha siu - bbq roast pork which is very good here. Is it true they are slated to close?

Why does this place have a 4 star rating? Restaurant looks 3rd world. Food was filled with grease. The grumpy lady treated me like crap or is having a bad day. Trust me, anything else is a better option.

A) Rude B) Hole in the Wall C) Food Nothing Special

The food I ordered here taste bad. Sweet sour pork is not sweet sour pork - the way they cook it is just sauce over boiled fat pork with very strong taste of pork. White rice has a bad taste. Walnut prawn is just regular shrimp. The plates they use is what Chinese people use when show appreciate to god/ancestor/funeral.

Tried this spot out as my husband and I were craving some simple and easy Chinese food! We live nearby and have drive or walked by this spot on multiple occasions, noticed it's a bit of a hole in the wall but being Chinese ourselves we typically find those are some of the most authentic spots haha. We ordered 4 dishes to go, the house chow mein, the bbq pork fried rice, the sweet and sour pork and the snow peas & water chestnuts. The only dish that was a bit disappointing was the sweet & sour pork. Having had this dish at various Chinese restaurants in and out of the Bay Area we thought this one was sub par. Everything else was fine and the fried rice was exceptional. We place our order in store and they told us it would be about 10 minutes so we walked across the street to the Japanese market, browsed for a few and then walked back and our order was ready! So they're quick. They do accept cash only, no card. So keep that in mind. Parking is decent, as in you'd have to find street parking nearby but I've never had any issues finding a spot within a block of this area when I need to.

We've been meaning to try this place for so many years and decided to just drop in on the way home from SF back to San Jose. This little gem is so delicious! It really reminds me of the small hole in the wall fantastic foods you find in busy NYC. We really enjoyed the food and can't wait to return!

Tasty food for a great price! Definitely going back again. We enjoyed the Beef Chow Fun, Singapore Vermicelli and the House Special Fried Rice.

Its a little bland but the prices and portions make up for what it lacks.

Use to eat at this place all the time when I was a kid. Went to school with the son of the owner, Randy, at Sunnybrae Elementary back in the late 80's early 90's. I miss this place so much and would give anything to have a plate of beef lo mein from this place again. If you're ever in the area and want some great Chinese food for a great price, come here. You'll find no better.
