I came in for my first tattoo today and I had such a great experience! I got it from Marissa and she was so kind and gentile and did a wonderful job, I got a little lightheaded after she started filling it in, so she got me a rice krispy treat and gave me some time to feel better. A few of the other artists got me a couple of pieces of candy and a bottle of water too which helped a lot. Overall a fantastic experience, thanks to everyone working there <3Service: Tattoos

I got my tattoo done by Marissa, and I must say she's an amazing artist. I love love love the way my tattoo turned out, exactly the kind I had imagined. She really explained the procedure well to me before and after, and took care of my comfort the entire time. It got done in a breeze! Had the worst experience with this tattoo shop. So there was a girl named "SIN" and she did one session on my arm tattoo i payed her $1400 in cash and she did $200 dollars worth with the understanding i would be back for several more sessions , well she ended up not working there no more and the owner refuses to make this right. I do not recommend this place at all.

I can't stress enough the importance of doing your research before committing to a tattoo artist. Personally for me, if a tattoo artist's online portfolio (Instagram) is appealing to me while holding a large following base-- I'm sold! It's really all about credibility. I discovered Rio from a close friend and I took a leap of faith since my homeboy is beautifully tatted. Booking with Rio was breeze and I appreciate him for accommodating my spontaneity. He did two tattoos that were roughly 4 months apart. First tattoo was an easy request-- two words in cursive/calligraphy on right butt cheek. Second tattoo were some flowers with intricate shadings located on my left under boob. Professionalism-- Keeping it a buck with y'all since both tattoos were done in two intimate areas... Rio was very professional and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. Love that he's all about business while making sure his clients are satisfied with their pieces. Some takeaways from my experience: 1. Very clean. 2. Unique studio decor. 3. Diverse staff group. (POC/male-female ratio) 4. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. Tattoo studios are historically known for being off putting and intimidating, but it's the complete opposite here. 10/10 experience-- I can't wait to come back and potentially support a different artist at this establishment.

My sister and I were visiting the Bay Area for the weekend and were craving some fresh ink. Luckily, we found this spot and walked in. We did some research on their Instagram for the different styles that the artists did and decided the apprentice Marissa was the perfect artist for our idea of a tattoo. She was so dope and was able to take us in the same day. She also did an amazing job with our tattoos. She has some amazing work, you should definitely check her out!

Just wanna thank Marissa and the Lyfestyle Ink team for being so chill and accommodating! My best friend and I wanted to get matching-not-so-matching tattoos and she made it happen for us! We had the greatest time hanging out and thought the shop was hella cool with the art and decorations. We will definitely be coming back again!
