Took my parents here. Didn't know that this place was here 2 months. I gotta tell you. The portion sizes are phenomenal. Fresh cooked steaming meals. Prices a little higher than most places. But you are getting a lot for the price, though. The atmosphere of remind me of nicaragua. It's a family on business which I am always willing to support. Since they are just beginning, they hasn't things in kings to work out as regards their digital online menu.. But if there's something you're not familiar with You can always ask for clarification in their happy to explain it to you thoroughly. Overall, everything reminded me of when I was visiting my grandparents. I recommend this for families that need to share meals. You'll get great portion sizes.

I recently visited Delicias Nicaraguense, a newly opened restaurant that caught my eye. Despite my forgetfulness with the dish's name, I found it to be delicious. I will say the portion size was slightly unbalanced ratio of main course to sides like rice, beans, and plantains. I would’ve liked to see more of the main dish on my plate. The tostones were a standout, surpassing my expectations. I suggest offering a half-and-half option for those torn between plantains and tostones. The agua Fresca I ordered was refreshingly sweet. Everything tasted fresh and made to order, and the lively music added to the ambiance. Despite the lack of prices on the menu, the staff promptly addressed the issue and assured they were working on new menus. While my bill exceeded $30, I found it a tad pricey, but the flavors, cleanliness, and ambiance were good. There were plenty of customers coming in and out of the restaurant, indicating a growing curiosity for Nicaraguan cuisine, and I hope Delicias Nicaraguense continues to thrive.Gracias, y buenas suerte en su negocio

Atmosphere:The restaurant welcomed us with a somewhat old and simple decoration. The wobbly chairs and worn tables added a touch of authenticity, but also made us question our choice.Service:The staff seemed to be in a competition to see who could be the most indifferent. We waited forever for them to take our order, and when they finally did, they seemed surprised that we were there to eat.Meal:This is where things get interesting. We ordered the “Special Vigorón”, which according to the menu, included yucca, chicharrones and cabbage salad. What arrived at our table was a plate of boiled cassava, pork rinds that looked like they had been reheated in the microwave, and a cabbage salad that had more vinegar than vegetables. The “special” seemed to have been designed by a first-year culinary student who had forgotten his glasses.Drinks:We opted for the “Cacao con Leche”, which sounded exotic and promising. However, what we got was a cup of hot water with a touch of cocoa powder and a splash of milk. Where was the flavor? Where was the magic?Desserts:We decided to give “Arroz con Leche” a try. The texture was similar to fresh cement, and the taste… well, I couldn't tell you, since my palate is still in a state of shock. Conclusion:"Nicaraguan Delicias" a place that makes you appreciate fast food restaurants. If you are looking for a dining experience that will make you question your life choices, this is the place for you. But if you value your health and your sanity, I recommend that you run in the opposite direction

Very nice restaurant! I like the murals from the outside and inside. It is very spacious inside. The biggest table they have can sit up to 10 people, so great for family dinners. Our waiter was Carlos and he had the best patience while he took my family and I's order. He was also enthusiastic and always checked in on us during our meal. Their atol de elote and arroz con leche must be popular because we were able to get just one cup of atol de elote. It was delicious though. I pictured the dish I got and it was delicious too! The shrimp, onion, steak, avocado, and everything else was good! I give 4 stars because the place was cold. But I would come to eat there again! Great service. They also sell pan de Guatemala, chips from Guate, and candies too. The merch store is a good touch too to the theme: shirts, dresses, keychains, dolls, scarves, and jewelry. Lastly, they play marimba music while eating. Come here to get a taste of Guate!
