When I came in I noticed the ice cream cones were just sitting on the countertop. The price is weren't clearly labeled and I had trouble even seeing if there was a menu on the wall., there wasn't any ventilation, everything had a faded, a dull appearance and I got it sense I was bothering the cashier / service person. Although I got a single scoop, my ice cream wasn't packed into the cone. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back the number of things wrong

Solid ice cream. Roughly 5-6$ a waffle cone scoop and usually quiet so not a lot of noise. I would recommend the banana walnut!

Delicious fresh ice cream. Classic mom and shop that has been around for years. Can't go wrong with any yummy flavor in a waffle cone or hot sundae. They even have pints for purchase of any flavor!
If you ever in town or passing through the Bay Area make sure to stop through and have a scoop or two of Double Rainbow delicious all naturally made ice cream. This location is black owned, the owner is amazing !!! The establishment is clean, nicely lighted, has sitting area inside, and friendly service. My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more. The pics I have posted is a pics of my grandson for his birthday !!!They make ice creams cakes, milkshakes, bananas split, smoothies and ice cream sundaesThey accept cash, debit and tap pay. !!!

Love this place in downtown Benicia! Very cute area. The girls who work here are superb, very friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their faces. I especially love that they're the only ones who serve soy ice cream - love the soy very cherry chip! Reminds me of Ben n Jerry's cherry Garcia but better in my opinion because it's soy! It's also wonderful that you can place an online order for pick up! Recently discovered this flavor this summer, hope it sticks around!

A reliable scoop of good no-frills ice cream! Since 1976 and with its first store opening in SF, Double Rainbow continues to be family owned and operated to this day, with both retail and wholesale distribution across the country. This location was a little sleepy in one of San Pablo's many plazas. I decided to stop by after a dinner run to Koi Sushi. There were a ton of flavors but I gravitated toward my childhood favorites, mint chocolate chip and butter pecan. Portion was hefty, scooper was friendly, and the taste was refreshing, creamy and nostalgic. They also have yummy looking custom ice cream cakes in the display and booths on the side if you want to dine in. I would return to satisfy the local ice cream fix and try the other flavors!
