Terrible service, we made a reservation days before for a birthday here when we arrived the lady who is the manager had a terrible character as if we were going to eat here for free. Fix your attitude lady.

Hateful people take a long time and I think they serve men better. It looks more like a canteen or a place to drink liquor.

First time here after a visit to Annie's Annuals. Everyone loved their choices. My carnitas plate was excellent and the corn tortillas are exceptional.

I had the chicken a la plancha. It’s served with rice and beans. The chicken was super delicious. It was covered in a tasty red sauce. It was not spicy but that was ok because of the tasty flavor. In addition the tortillas were homemade.

Thank you Veronica and team for such good food

Everything was good until we got our order of California fries. The menu stated it came with guacamole for same price, when I asked for it she added avocado instead and said it would be an extra cost. When we got the bill we were charged $.55 + per item on top of the 9.75% sales tax of the total. They also charged more than menu stated. When we asked about it the cashier stated it was fees that the “clover” tablet cashier charges for using the device which is not anywhere on the menu and also not the customers problem. She ended up taking over $10+ in fines and extra fees and only was willing to return $5.50 after a long discussion over it. If she overcharges each customer $10+ in fees she makes pretty good “free” money from us and doesn’t state any of that anywhere in her restaurant. She was rude and unfriendly about the situation. Never again will we go eat there .

I like some of the food at this restaurant. What disliked me is that , they asked you to scan a square code to download the menu which last time we tried twice didn't work. Until we ask for regular menu cards. Other than that is ok. I

El Palenque Grill has changed over the years, me and my family have came here since a year ago, I tried its burrito and it was great, instally became one of my go to places with my family, but with each visit (which consisted every 3-5 weeks when we wanted to go to a place to dine at) their prices or food changed in a different way, we didn't mind and kept eating there, but each of my family members found a problem with their food twice minimum and had enough, they started to dislike the place. On sat Oct 7 I came here with my dad. I ordered my usual quesabirrias, and I ordered my nephew a (quesadilla de asada) and my dad a super burrito de asada. once the food came my nephew didint get his meat in his quesadilla, which was okay for us, my dad didint complain about his burrito (the only thing wrong was that it was too small for him or he was probably just hungry). The last straw was when we found out my quesabirria's meat wasn't birria it was chicken. We don't know if we are going back there again time will tell, im just sad my favorite place changed so much.
