Brosco Binticket the head dude over at the Clabberhasery where he fabricates little figures of Coit Tower, the Leaning Tower of Piza and of course the one he calls "the girls best friend..it takes batteries" he said with a wink... He told me the best Italian food in the bay area is La Strada. So, I was paying him and his little stab of a wife Skinny a visit I thought I'd bring then some pasta from La Strada, so I called ahead and it was ready when I got there. And, it was Spectacular!5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

You want a genuinely nice Italian dinner experience? This is THE place to check out? All the options on the menu look great, on this visit I had the veal marsala...mm...mmm...mmmmm. ?And the host and server topped it off with a slice of Tiramisu because it was my birthday dinner...in addition to THE most delish Bread Pudding w/ Vanilla ice cream that I ordered. This place is now etched in my mind as a must visit anytime I'm in the area. ???Parking: You won't have any problems finding free parking.

A cozy, family-run Italian restaurant with excellent Italian food at relatively affordable prices. Went here for Valentine’s Day and it was a great experience. The salad and desserts were the best part. Would definitely return again.

I absolutely love La Starda! This bar is a hidden gem in the city, with a cozy atmosphere and fantastic drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure that my experience is top-notch. The cocktails are expertly crafted and delicious, and the food menu is also impressive. Whether I'm looking for a chill spot to relax after work or a fun night out with friends, La Starda never disappoints. I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great night out.

Came for dinner around 5pm on 3/10/24. Food was pretty good, though our waiter was in the back hallway just chatting the entire time. Left us to wait to order, then left us to ask someone else for to-go boxes, then left us again to wave him down from the back to get the check. He seemed nice but truly gave no care for us.

La Strada longtime Italian restaurant. I met the owner Martino, who was very polite and just made me feel I was going to get an Italian home cooked meal. Martino was correct, La Strada's chefs knew how to cook, and staff was always there to offer the meal advice and great service. Yes, I will be back.

Bravo. Not a perfect five stars but I think you should go. It's a well-worn Sinatra-style dinner house with a joyful atmosphere, above-average service and hearty home made Italiano comfort food. One of those places where the host breaks into O Solo Mia in good tenor to cheers and claps all around, where everybody joins in when the waiters break into Happy Birthday. Loved the veal piccata, the squid steak, the ribeye, linguini vongale, spaghetti and meatballs and bread pudding to die for. The table bread is wonderful. Wines, cocktails all good. No problem for walk-insParking: The parking lot can take a few minutes' wait for a space to open during the dinner rush.
