I always go to this place because I love chicken but one day I had to orders in the drive through and the girl that works there do not speak good English don’t know why they let her take drive-through orders she clearly didn’t understand what I ordered and had my order all wrong so I parked and went inside they had a attitude with me like I didn’t know what I ordered like I was wrong I told the I would never come back this location again if your hiring people that don’t speak good English don’t put them in the drive-through window I shouldn’t have to keep repeating what I ordered and don’t get mad at the customer because you got the order wrong just fix so the customer can be on their way I don’t want no one preparing my food with bad energy I won’t be returning!

Server (Maria) appeared to be overwhelmed working both the drive thru as well as the counter!! But with highly skilled servers like Maria, she handily kept an even keel & provided superior service regardless!!

Against my better judgment i stopped on my way home last night from the hospital short on time to cook dinner. Should of stopped at KFC but they had a long ling (which means ppl like) went here and there was only 1 person. Well for 55 dollars i got 4 wings 4 legs 2 breast and maybe they where thighs. WTH. The WINGS have ABSOLUTELY no meat on them so there goes 1 persons meal. Then got the large beans n rice with mashed potatoes. Not sure how many ppl they think those larges are going to feed but didn't feed 4 adults. NEVER AGAIN. Cashier was very nice and pleasant

To start off my rating is solely on how good our food was. Because the customer service needs help. So my group ordered 3 family meals. All together we had 40 pieces of chicken and two large Mac and cheeses, 2 red beans and rice which were put together very nicely, and 4 large mash and gravies. The biscuits were nice and soft, all the chicken was nice and fresh, however... the manager was being extremely rude, katty, hard to deal with. So we kept asking for fresh chicken. The manager kept saying no. It was the weirdest experience, I have been into other Popeyes in other cities throughout California and never encountered such a dilemma when ordering a large order of food. Then I was trying to pay with 100.00 dollar bill and the guy at the register was asking me if I had a card? I have cash, and then he had all these poor excuses for not being able to take my payment. He said he had no ones and then the manager kept speaking in Spanish, I am fluent in Spanish so I chimed in on their conversation and requested my change in quarters. I started to feel sorry for the manager she has some foolish employees that can't problem solve when they run out of dollar bills. Like I said the food was excellent but the staff, and manager need help. Good luck! Just glad this isn't my local Popeyes. I now appreciate the Popeyes on hatch road in modesto they have top tier customer service compared to this Popeyes in San Pablo

Horrible door dash service... multiple errors and no attention to details on the order. Paid for blackened grilled chicken sandwich, asked for no pickles-- got a SPICY CRISPY chicken sandwich WITH pickles. Totally WRONG Item. Never got the 2 dipping sauces requested. Also PAID for extra dipping sauces (buttermilk ranch, but NO, they sent blackened ranch), again no attention to detail. Ordered a 5pc meal... they put NO butter or honey for the biscuit in the order. We ordered 2 sodas... and they couldn't even press in the "diet" bubble on the lid to differentiate the sodas. So many issues on one simple order, NEVER ORDERING DELIVERY AGAIN. staff can't read simple order instructions. Tried to call to speak with manager and nobody answers the phone. Horrible service.

Today (10-18-23) I went to Popeyes in San Pablo, CA at 1:48 on my lunch break and ordered the local favorite for $10.49 which it advertised for on their sign. Get to the widow and the woman said it’s incorrect her price was correct which she quoted $12.99. I asked why was the price different and she said she was the manager and she could change the pricing. I opened my while driving to and bit into a popcorn shrimp which was hard, tried another same thing, another same thing hard as rocks. I tried the wing same thing. I tea also was horrible, it was watered down and warm with no ice. This is the worst Popeyes in the Bay Area. The woman in the window I really hope she not the manager, she was sloppy dress dirty uniform and poor customer service.
