There's no ambiance, but there is a generous clientele, who will offer to buy you a drink, as well as generous pours.

Not sure what I was hoping for or expecting, but this place is just your typical dive bar in LA.

This is one of oldest bars in the South Bay and it is a true dive, with lots of character. The walls are covered in old photos and memorabilia, and the vibe is fantastic. Our bartender had heavy pourer, so you're sure to get your money's worth. She recommended some nice drinks and shots. If you're looking for a laid-back place to have a drink and relax, this is a place to check out.

Such a cool and unique bar! Always filled with locals and attracts people from all over due to the historical factor about the bar. It's a sight to see and one you won't forget! Beer is always cold and they have all the common/most requested beers. Their liquor stock is vast and plenty. The bartenders help make this bar such a great local dive bar to come and enjoy your evening at. Friendly vibes, fast and attentive service. It's kinda like Cheers, they'll remember your name and sometimes your drinks if you're a regular from what I noticed. They have bands or DJs every weekend, which have been some really great entertainment over the past few months. Best part is there isn't a cover charge for the bands! They have a jukebox and a dart board for patrons to play their favorite jams or throw a few rounds for fun. The bartenders have a button to request a cab right behind the bar...super convenient and safe if you've been drinking. Love this place!

I always go into this bar on the weekends when Sydnie is there. They have some live music every weekend, not sure which days. She's always running around busy, but figures out a way to take care of us all AND still have fun. There drink prices are pretty great too! I usually spent about $40 a night when I'm there. I would absolutely recommend checking out this local establishment!

We came in with about 30 people for our after party for a wedding. The BEST bartender I've ever had BY FAR, her name was Sydney. We don't live nearby but I'll come back to visit just for her she made EVERYONE'S night so much better. Welcomed us with open arms and she was the only bartender. She was fast, efficient, sweet! Great prices for shots to, $70 for 10 hornitos shots WOW, GREAt DEAL, that she cut the lime fresh for us. There was some regulars which I guess are locals, the guys were super welcoming to everyone in our group, I think there names were Kevin and Trinity or something like that. It really was a super cute bar and it's the oldest bar in the area! What a hidden little gem that we were all so happy to find!!!!! P.S the bartender even offered to send us pictures for the night AND took a group photo close to the end of the night.

I absolutely love this bar. Some of the best prices in town and some of the best bartenders by far. It's small and so much fun! Great atmosphere, unique, friendly. They have darts and a jukebox, several TVs with the games on. All the classics for liquor and beer choices. There's live music on the weekends which is so cool! I'll be back for sure!

"throwing crusts to seagulls slicing tomatoes that's the best rugs with cigarette burnscracks in sidewalkswaitresses still sanethat's the best"-BukowskiA true dive bar with zero pretense or preciousness. Gorgeous in its way. Cheap drinks. Old rusty license plates, photos of scantily clad women, 4 close up images of Charles Bukowski, an autographed photo of the cast of the Jackass films, and a framed list of hangover cures adorn this posh establishment.Other reviewers have remarked that the smoking, the informality, the free spirited nature of this bar is not for them. However, to quote Bukowski: "Who is to say the rose is greater than the thorn?" Sometimes the relief of being in a place with few rules, a truly fun crowd, and affordable frosty beverages is well worth the trade off.The bartender/manager, Sydnie, conducted herself like a true pro all night. Made sure all drinks were topped, kept the regulars in good spirits, and maintained an impressive amount of light conversation with all seated at the bar. Better than 3 avg. bartenders combined. Would give 5 stars just for Sydnie's approach to hospitality. The DJ on this night was DJ Adree; she played the songs the crowd there needed to hear. The classic hip hop, the new heaters, and the golden oldies all throbbed out of the speakers. The crowd was definitely for her, and appreciative of her mixing. Many regulars got their groove on as the night passed. Her set was effective.Alhambra Cocktails, Sydnie, DJ Adree, and all the locals, I doff my cap to you. Thanks for keeping it too legit to quit in a world full of chameleons & copycat franchises. 5 stars--the easy way.

I have one thing to say: this allows people to smoke inside! WTF! The bartender is like 8 months pregnant! And they light up like it's 1977.. no thanks! This place needs to go! I hope they close it down due to this review!
