My first time their , went to get a torpedo for work, it was going to my lunch. But when I got to work the sandwich was soggy. I'll stick with A1-imports . Where even at lunch time their sub are always made to order fresh .

Bring cash, and if your sandwich is hot expect tomato sauce on it. The sandwiches are huge. We should have shared one. It is a take out spot only. This is a Pedro institution, check it out.

BIG sandwich! Bread soft fluffy~NOT toasted. I had the chicken teriyaki which had too much mayo and mustard for my liking. It took them all of 2 1/2 minutes to prepare. It will take me three days to finish.

An ok sandwich, too bad there was more meat in the price than on the actual sandwich itself

Best food ever! No atmosphere, long lines(for a reason) but the best hot sandwiches in town.

When we find ourselves hungry in San Pedro we go to Busy Bee and get a sandwich and drive down to the waterfront and eat in the car as ships and boats go by.

If you aren't a big eater, you may think of splitting one with someone else.

"Not worth the money or the drive"  They only have one good sandwich. Just another over hype, overrated location. But don't take my word for it.

BBQ chicken sucked. They completely skimped on chicken (one piece of chicken breast), and poured a waterfall of marinara all over (if you wait 10 minutes, it's a soup not a sandwich). So so messy, tasted completely average, chicken was dry (maybe why they over compensate with sauce), sandwich was falling apart. It should be called Marinara Chicken; no taste of bbq.

Expensive af. It should be $12 AT MOST (chicken cooked in a batch and just warmed for hours) but somehow they charge $18 for it. Cash only, so maybe you'd think they don't charge tax. Nope, they do (except they didn't charge tax for my friends...?).

Tried a bit of a pastrami sandwich; it's average, but $20 is $5 too expensive...

All around, never need to try again. Save yourself some money and time from this "local" place; they're fleecing everyone.

Is there a sandwich heaven? Must be, and it's located in San Pedro...all I can say is Top-Notch! There's something for everyone's taste! If you LOVE hot or cold sandwiches that are over-filled with your choice of protein AND reasonably affordable, I suggest you scurry over to Busy Bee ASAP! Highly recommend! Fyi - parking lot has limited spaces, nearby accessible street parking.
