Lost amongst the neighborhoods of San Pedro….I feel fortunate to have come across this GEM! They are open Wedensday-Sun and sometimes sell out of popular items. The eatery next door is also excellent!

Great way to start the day! Service is always outstanding, pastries are perfect for me, we get a loaf of bread to take home. Great neighborhood place for coffee and pastry

This shop is amazing, delicious coffee and impressively yummy baked items. The only part missing are tables for people to sit and enjoy but I understand that the limited space doesn't leave them much space for it.

I went 3 times and they are out of product , not good for a new business . Very expensive . You can go to places in Torrance much better in quality and lower in prices . We need a real good bakery in SP

I love pastries and I love bread and I love coffee. I also love that this place is so close to home! But I don't know if it's a good thing for me because now I am addicted lol. The women that work here are All so sweet and always answer my questions about the beverage menu ( which I told myself I'd try every single one) and so far all good but I am loving their gingerbread caramel latte and tried the chocolate peppermint cookie today and omg it is sooo good! Peppermint flavor is just the perfect amount not overpowering, like the lady that helped me said I cannot believe it's Vegan. My kids love their chocolate chip cookies and we enjoy some of their sourdough every now and then! Great little gem in San Pedro.

If you like mediocre taste and good quality for a large premium served with condescending, lack luster service, then this place is for you. As for me I like to spend my money where it's appreciated.

So much to say... but ultimately, Colossus is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I've ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls... but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It's all amazing and I've brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.

Checked out the original location in San Pedro. I had only been to the Long Beach spot before. It's a cute hole in the wall inside a neighborhood. Food is still great. The croissant breakfast sandwich is delicious as usual. Kept me full for 6 hours and I only finished 75% of it. Love Colossus!

I really Love colossus and want to support local but I can't justify spending $7 on a 12oz latte :( prices have just gone way too high. Increasing prices was one thing but now only offering small cups for the same amount of money is not cool. I hope they reconsider.

I just returned to Long Beach from Paris. I was there 3 weeks and fell in love with the pastry from Britney France, kouign amann. I googled where I could find this delightful treat in this area and was lead to Colossus. I tried both locations...Long Beach and San Pedro. I have to say the staff in the San Pedro location was much more inviting and accommodating. For that reason I would return there. The kouign amann. .well it is tasty but not as yummy as the one in Paris. In Paris the ooey gooey goodness is more prevalent throughout the bun. Here there just a tad bit at the bottom of the flaky pastry..I will post pics ? for comparison.
