Not exactly sure how to rate the atmosphere in the drive thru. But the lady taking the order did a good job and was very clear over the outdoors speaker system and got our correct the first time. However🙂↕️the food was terrible!! Got two burgers that had something in them that was spicy! and they were smashed beyond recognition without lettuce or tomato to compliment the two patties. The churros were tasteless and greasy, like old grease was used. Couldn't even taste the cinnamon sugar on the pastry! The del beef burrito was also old grease tasting. This coming from a man that eats almost anything. Said he couldn't even finish it, made his stomach upset. Finally the del tacos were ok except the shells tasted stale. I used to work for Del Taco several years ago and this absolutely is not what I know about the quality of the food that passes across counters and drive-thru. I am grateful for the 24 hour service. I will be returning the uneaten and unwanted items for a refund.

I picked up an Uber delivery at the drive thru and the girl went from taking orders to preparing food. No in between. No hand washing or gloves. From touching her headset to touching cheese and tortillas with her bare hands then going back to the touchscreen to input the order, then opening and closing the window latch, then back to food… it’s just not sanitary.
I sympathize with overworked fast food employees, and this location has a history of being shortstaffed… so much so that it’s been closed during normal hours several times, and they close the dine in area before any other fast food restaurant does. But food safety shouldn’t suffer no matter what. I’d prefer if the line took 30 extra minutes rather than risk getting food poisoning.
Out of all the fast food in the area, I this place seems like it’s consistently got the lowest standards in regards to its employees, management, and food safety. Avoid if you can, I stopped eating here a while ago.

Del taco is my favorite fast food- I was super excited after a long day to indulge! the service at this location is the worst most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced. I actually regretted going and was left feeling embarrassed. The 2 girls were rude mean and irritated I was there. Yikes! And I swear I was extra polite, kind and used all my best manners thinking that would help. Nope and the food was slopped together super gross! Maybe you are thinking well it’s fast food but my total was $75 so it could have been a better experience. I’m so disappointed. Also I asked about the app the girl was Disgusted I even asked about it. Acted like it didn’t exist and I was crazy. To bad

Location lists dining open at 6am, yet was still closed at 8:30am when I arrived. When businesses post hours then don't adhere to those hours, it is time to go out of business. Avoid this location.

You really have to go out of your way to not be able to wrap a burrito correctly lol. And if you look at the picture it would look like i paid for tortilla not burrito. The the little boy at the register was kind of nice, i guess they were in a hurry but there was absolutely no line. How weird and i LOVE del taco, but i guess this will be the exception. I dont understand you pay the employees more, hand off the customer a higher price but the service exception stays just as low as it was. I should definetly get my money back.
Dont go to this del taco, let it lose business so it can shut down and open something better. Taco bell is down the street.

I have noticed that I can get more food for much less than the "other guys" so I would recommend this place for their value menu and such.

I never write reviews but someone needs to know about the poor management here. I’ve been eating here faithfully for years. The staff has been terrible. My last visit last week I was the only one to arrive in the drive through. Although I had to wait 9 minutes before they could take my order. I had to wait over 10 minutes to get my food and when they handed it to me 3/4 items were in the bag. I told them and they carelessly said oh. I asked for sauce as well that I never received. After I ate the meal my stomach started to turn I ignored it. That night I had the worst food poisoning. I’m never eating Del taco again this San Pedro location ruined the whole chain for me.
