We have been to this dump a few times. We gave them a chance when they first opened. The food was garbage. The next time, the food improved-not good but better. My wife drove through tonight. Again, the food was complete garbage, burnt and small portions. The chicken breast was half size and so were the tortillas. I'm not sure how corporate allows them to get away with this trash. I will be calling.

Time of day makes a big difference.
Going at 10:30-11am seems like the sweet spot where I can visit the drive thru, order and receive everything I want without issue.
After 5pm on several occasions they were out of the chicken I wanted to order. It's not a big deal, but it is mildly annoying.
I really like that this location has a drive thru & they've always been plenty polite, it's just unfortunate that stopping here after work to pick up a larger family meal doesn't always work out.

Every time I go there I get dried up burnt old chicken San Pedro location, I like the other el Pollo Locos but this one they canāt seem to get it right then when I get the white meat thatās dried up as well somebody needs to talk to the one flipping the chicken and tell them to keep an eye on it or get rid of the cook or chicken flipper and itās not one time itās every time I go there consistently burnt chicken dryed up terrible maybe one time out of 20 the chicken came out just OK I never go there anymore the only thing I like there is the hot green peppers called the chile serranos I just wanted to update and add to the review the manager contacted me saying that he would make things right I give him a chance to serve me some some decent chicken and I couldāve edited my review but thatās all he said and no coupons no hey weāre gonna make it right by giving you some more chicken or something but nope he just said that quick remark and havenāt heard back from him since still waiting Iāll update you shortly

Everything about this restaurant was bad starting off with the menu in the drive-through. The light was off and I couldnāt see anything then when I get to the window, the lady there had the worst attitude ever. I was missing some menu items and then sheās rushing me to get out the drive-through. She asked me if I was waiting for anything else and I told her I was putting on my seatbelt so that I can leave. and not to mention, I ordered a double chicken, avocado salad and the chicken was old and dry and tasteless. Iām never coming to this restaurant again horrible service.

They got my pickup order wrong. I had to go back to get it fixed. Had to wait to get it fixed, but there were no customers. The first woman I dealt with was rude. The second one was a little nicer, but overall, I will never go back to this location.
I ordered Grubhub and my order was all wrong. I asked for a chicken and avocado quesadilla. There was no avocado. I asked for no dressing and it was full of it. I had payed for the combo which comes with chips and a drink. There was no chips and no drink!

Late night dining may have been the issue. But, the chicken tasted old, they where missing the menu items that we wanted. Problem was we didn't notice that the food we did get was not up to par until we got down the freeway and it was too late to turn around. This is not the first time this has happened with this food chain.
