You definitely don't go to the enchilada house for atmosphere. My dad went here when he was in high school and I've been going since I was a kid, and I'm in my '60s. Really nice ladies, very good food at very reasonable price. I really like their burritos. Chile verde and bean and cheese are great, red chili beef is my favorite though
Quick and good Mexican food. Not spicy, not too much salt, fried items taste good.
My to go items are the crispy potatoes tacos, with lettuce and cheese- cheddar. 9/10 times the tacos have lots of potatoes - mashed style and you quickly get full.
The chicken crispy tacos the day I went Sunday before noon- the chicken was so soft and had a good taste.
I haven had the enchiladas but my boyfriend and his mother liked the cheese...

I stopped by the Enchilada House at 133 N Bandini St San Pedro, CA 90731today for lunch. A local, family owned and operated, inexpensive place for lunch or dinner. It's not much to look at, it's small, and a bit run down, but it has great food, inexpensive, and has an A rating. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a shot.
