I love this place. It's like seriously stepping back in time. Hardly no one knows that this street was once a bustling Japanese fishing village and there were dozens of shops and thousands of people living here until WWII. All the people are gone, the canneries that once lined the wharf are gone, but this little restaurant still stands. A great hole in the wall in a very unexpected location. SUPER friendly owners who week to remember everyone that passes through their doors. If you can't decide whether you want a burger, fish and chips, or Chinese food then come here and get all three!
Great hidden jem! Was once part of the old Japonese Village. Really good food. Fish and chips were good and crispy and the teriyaki chicken and rice with a large Kirin beer was perfect. Thank you Espy. We will be back.
