We had dinner here. Now this could’ve been a normal dinner, but it was not.It was exquisite! Not too expensive, very well prepared. And we met Chef Matt and he took our feedback with gratitude and humbleness.10/10 will come back. What a good dinner experience.

Great service and attention to detail. Excellent fish. I had the halibut special. Very well prepared and served!

Bonjour! We discovered that typically French bistro, hedging on bohemian design by pure luck strolling down the street. Curiosity enticed us to make a reservation a few days later. We were welcomed by a smily hostess & guided to our table. Having read the menu on the door, we pretty much knew what we would order, however our local guest had to peruse the menu. We decided to order a large charcuterie board while we were discussing the items. Promptly we were made aware of the daily specials. The charcuterie and cheese board was covered by some slices of salami that reminded me of the Jesus de Lyon, some. Good country style pâté, some deliciousProsciutto, three cheeses, a bleu d’Auvergne(may be fourme d’Ambert) some conté, and a less desirable brie looking cheese, and of course there were the north American accoutrements of jam, walnuts, raisins but no cornichon(bizarre!). A basket of acceptable sliced baguette did the trick. We shared the delicious appetizer special composed of « al dente »green asparagus and hot smoked trout filet well balanced with a vinaigrette. The red beet/goat cheese salad lacked some wholeness: the red wine dressing lacked acidity and it doesn’t help the beets now days have lost their dark colour and much of their flavour due to seed manipulation. (May be some chopped garlic and parsley would have been welcomed). The beef Bourguignon stole the show, excellent large piece of beef shoulder nicely slowly braised in the red wine sauce with mashed russet potatoes and baby carrots(didn’t notice the mushroom, lardons and pearl onions) the bouillabaisse… we are so far away from the Mediterranean Sea…it had to be reinvented and it was, I would have appreciated more than one kind of fish, the sliced insipid fennel(it has no taste when you cook it, that is not the fault of the chef, mind you, probably another manipulation from Monsanto) may be a few drop of pastis would have played the trick, and saffron, what saffron?? The only disappointment was the Muscovy duck leg confit, I couldn’t check the pedigree of that duck, but that scrawny leg might have been from a Mulard duck instead, the fat wasn’t crispy and the meat firm and dry (was there enough duck fat for the confit process?) We sampled the three desserts: crème brûlée, was good, probably made with half &half cream instead of the 35% cream and no vanilla beans, the chocolate mousse ,could have been more airy, the lemon tart, I would have liked more of a lemony punch, maybe by incorporating some lemon zest when you emulsify the cream.A wine bistro..It was indeed! A very well assembled wine list, moderatly priced, good selection of Bordeaux and Burgundy wineries and surprisingly a few Beaujolais(Morton, Fleury…) In all a good experience.A bientôt !

Came for escargot which was so so good, also got the duck confit which was very flavorful. Waiters were really attentive, felt like I was in Europe, definitely a step up from similar places in

Awesome and pricy French bistro but worth every penny. Sampled 5 dishes and 5 sides. All were excellent. Beef bourguignon was a melt in your mouth wonder. They are not afraid of cheese in the three cheese dishes we tried. Mussels were great. Raclette was decadent as well as the French Onion soup.

Love this spot. As a vegetarian I wish there were more choices on the menu, but that’s how good this place is - I’ll order the same thing every time and still enjoy the evening. Lovely owner(s), great atmosphere, solid wine list. A real gem.Vegetarian options: Slim options in the entrees, but still available.

They offer brunch during the weekends only otherwise they are strictly a dinner restaurant. We decided to have a croque monsieur and a salmon tartine. They also had a big selection of wines from different parts of France which is cute to do on a Board. The food is delicious although not surprising or creative. The plating is pleasing. The service style is distant, no checking or refilling your drink unless you ask. They don't tend to be warm and friendly, so don't expect that. Just expect good decent French fare.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's a very small mom and Pop business. Owners are hands-on. Staff is amazing. we like starting with the mussels as an appetizer great share for the table. The pork chop was divine, so was duck confit. Everything we had was delicious. We shared pretty much everything .One of the best wine list I've ever come across. The sparkling Chenin Blanc is my new favorite. I highly recommend this place but you should definitely make a reservation.

I really wanted to love this place, and gave it multiple tries for over a year... but each time I've been met with uncomfortably cold (borderline rude) service and mostly bland food. It's really quite disappointing. My most recent visit just a couple of days ago was the most disappointing of all. My husband never wants to come back ever again. :( The bistro is traditionally cute and seems mostly very clean (my only gripe re: cleanliness is that they keep the styrofoam to-go boxes visibly stacked in the hallway, near the bathroom, setting open where they can collect dust and germs from anyone walking by - gross). I recall the first time I went, there were about four tables seated, yet the gentleman seating me acted like they were extremely busy, asked if i had a reservation, and then told me it would be a 30 minute wait. I concluded that perhaps he was just alone & overwhelmed, expecting reservations, and needing extra time to catch up.... So I went shopping at a ladies' clothing boutique a few doors down while I waited. I returned 30 minutes later and he acted shocked that I returned (?) and then pretty much insisted I sit at the bar top. I had a seat, ordered a nice wine, and treated myself to what I believed might be a nice meal..... yet nearly every interaction with their staff just seemed.... Cold. The nicest person is the Latino gentleman who clears the tables. I gave it a few more tries -- mostly dining alone when I was in the area shopping or running errands -- and consistently received strangely awkward service. I never had any clue why. I found myself only coming back occasionally, when I was in the mood for a glass of nice wine (one of their redeeming qualities is the lovely wine list). Then, just a couple of days ago, my husband suggested we come because he hadn't yet dined there.......... When we arrived there were just TWO small tables of guests seated--yet just like before the gentleman working (owner, perhaps) acted like they were almost too busy; he looked around as if he was struggling to figure out where to seat us :/ and then offered us either a seat next to a cute but VERY loud toddler, or the bar stools. It may have been because they were expecting a lot of reservations. We politely accepted the bar. The gentleman who seated and was serving us became more pleasant as our visit went on. So there we were, having ordered a glass of wine, a beat salad and two entrees. The salad was the best part.... But when the entrees came out, the woman who brought them LITERALLY seemed like she was angry with us. LOL. What the hell? I had already noticed her coldness... washing stemware behind the bar, less than a meter from us and acting like we didn't exist, rather than a normal smile and "hello" or "how are you today?" It's not like we are trying to be their best friends -- it's just noticeable and shockingly rude to be treated in such a way when you're innocently & generously supporting a local business. She stormed over with our entrees and just quickly mumbled, "trout. pork." No smile & devoid of customer service. I politely asked for a new fork and she stormed back over with it without saying a word -- just seeming angry. I said thank you and I'm certain she heard me and chose to ignore. It was as if she hated us. These dishes were plated beautifully, but sadly quite bland. Everything seemed fresh, but the only flavor on my plate was from the capers. For a moment I wondered if the rudeness was because we were dressed too casual (i was in a nice black dress, long cardigan and heels.... but my husband was in a hoodie). I looked around and noticed two other patrons were also wearing hoodies, so that may not have been it. Perhaps it's because we're not regulars? Bad day? Having managed fine dining restaurants myself for years, I honestly feel there simply isn't an excuse for this behavior. The only somewhat normal interaction from her was asking us if we planned to order dessert. Despite this very uncomfortable enco

Came for the French onion soup and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend along with the fresh French bread and butter. Enjoyed some delicious wine too! Great spot!

I had an incredible dining experience! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was lovely, and the owners were genuinely invested in both quality and customer satisfaction. My companion and I enjoyed a delightful dinner with fantastic wine. The intimate ambiance here brought back fond memories of charming Parisian bistros. Highly recommend this gem!
