Place is dirty and expensive I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada it was smelly and no flavor my husband ordered a molcajete the chicken was very soft overcooked and the meat was too hard like rubber I ordered a fresh tamarindo water and I was too old no flavor and had a lot of bubbles look like it was sitting in the jar for too many days I pay $ 48 + it was the worst food I ever had . My first time in there bad experience never come back

Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.

Finally!!!! Been in San Pedro for three weeks and after trying out multiple places w subpar tacos, to not called them much worse, I stopped by this place after visiting another taco joint just up the road. Anyway excellent tacos!!! The meat is fresh, the condiments are on point. I'll still explore other places but when I want the sure thing, this is my spot! FYI not sure but may just be cash only

Extraordinary Cabeza tacos! So far, I have tried the chicken, al pastor, and the chicken, but I am told that the carne asada was delicious too. The chicken was pretty basic and moist and not overly seasoned, and the al pastor was excellently marinated! The cabeza though was super tender, falling apart and unctuous. Very delicious and rick. They have a full compliment of picked onions and cucumbers, fresh and blended salsa (red, green and another green with avocado). They also have grilled onions and jalapenos on request. Super nice people working there. IT's a bit of a pop-up stand across from Numero Uno, and directly in front of the tattoo and the Juan Baez upolstery shops. I have seen them available on Saturdays, but I'm not sure about their availability the rest of the week.

Excellent El pastor, ready very quickly. Essentially no English spoken but this is the best taco I've had in 2 3/4 years of rabid taco consumption in the SP/LB area. Quintessential taco stand experience. (chefs kiss)
