This is now my favorite Mexican food place in LA area. The food is amazing, you can tell the folks that work here really take pride in making food like they're making it for their home. It is sooo good. And to sweeten it off, they even throw some sugar free chocolate treats in there for you.

I love visiting Mr. Valdez to eat lunch and dinner. The food is always fresh and delicious. I first fell in love with their Mexican Taquitos Dorados, then I tried their mole and OMG, it is amazing. Their tacos governador, menudo, and chilaquiles are my go to. The more dishes I try, the more I am surprised by the quality and incredible taste.

Mr. Valdez Restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The menu has a great mix of traditional and creative dishes, and everything I tried was packed with flavor.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend trying anything from the menu, everything we chose was amazing, burrito de asada, enchiladas, menudo, mole con pollo, chilaquiles...
