Hope they make better food I’ll come in more often

The prices online are different than the prices they charge you so watch out for that the food’s OK just a lot of celery not much meat

I saved the soup for later and it was absolutely awful. I had war wonton and it was full of sugar. Worst food I’ve ever had. I will never go back. The place is dive. The owner is rude. They lie about the prices. They’d should be ashamed of themselves.

Pleasant experience . Surprisingly and important for me who does not drive, they do deliver! Prompt and still warm. We ordered house special lo mein and house special chop suey both very tasty. It seems it is under new ownership. Their menu is different.

Been coming to this restaurant for at least 50 years maybe more have always enjoyed the food the original owners the grandma and grandpa that became their kids and their kids the food is delicious so since 1970 maybe even more I'll be honest a couple times recently and I and when I order it again it's okay so sometimes people have good days and bad days 99% of the time it's fabulous I have selected all that we have had their but our favorites are the pork fried rice is to die for delicious and barbecue pork and we had chicken eaters so we had to get chicken too

The Lo mein was soggy/mushy. The chicken in the fried rice was cold. The same sauce was used on 3 different entrees. The lo mein, beef with broccoli, kung pao chicken, all had the same sauce. Never have I ever experienced this. The service was great though.

So i was looking to replace my beloved, since closed, lucky star. It's no lucky star, but it does the job. They were friendly and decently fast esp during prime dinner take out time. Would order again but I continue my search for my new lucky star...

A Local Favorite for Comforting Chinese Food!

I've been a fan of Nim Chan's Kitchen for a while now, and it never disappoints! If you're looking for delicious, no-fuss Chinese food, this is the spot in San Pedro. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a regular from the very first visit.

The food? Amazing! My go-to dishes are the Mongolian Chicken , the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and the garlic pork– full of flavor and always served hot. Portions are generous, which makes it great for sharing or taking some home for later. I also love how well they package the food for takeout; they make sure nothing spills, which is super thoughtful.

This is a true neighborhood gem, and whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, you’re in for a tasty, satisfying meal. Highly recommend giving Nim Chan’s a try!

The best Chinese food in San Pedro. Everything is fresh and made once you order. Get the egg roles.

Nim Chans has been there at least one million years. They have not changed anything, and the food is still made when you order it with fresh ingredients. No tubs of food made in the morning or left over from who know when. No bedside manner, and that's ok. just great tasting fresh food.

First time here. At first when you go into the restaurant it doesn't look as though the food will be good but surprisingly it was very good. So i say you really should give it a try. Egg rolls were very good they had a very strong flavorful taste. Egg foo young tasty. Kung pao chicken excellent not too spicy, mild actually.Chicken and green beans pretty good. Beef with broccoli not too shabby either. ????10/7/23 ⭐ Went in to order some egg rolls only, we just wanted a simple late night bite to eat since we've been here before and enjoyed the food egg rolls included. However this time around ordered egg rolls and I've got to say I didn't care for them at all, not much flavor and the oil that's being used was poor quality. I actually felt sick from my stomach from the egg rolls up to the next day ? eww ! My friend said the same thing. "Not the same*. Won't be ordering anymore. Sad ?.
