Went to this place today for the first time as I just moved here and I had the chicken chilaquiles. And I must say they were amazing in every way. I’ll be back to try more 5 ⭐️

My aunt took us here while visiting, open for lunch/brunch hours. Family had pancakes, waffles, omelettes etc to order. I had the breakfast chilaquiles w/ pork. Imagine being stacked on a thatch roof of square tortillas that never get soggy, then covered with red or green sauce, etc. And then when you cut into your egg (assuming it's fried) holy sh@t this is the best breakfast dish I have had. I usually eat half a meal and bag the rest... This I had to force myself to push away . 5 stars off that alone

From Phoenix, AZ we came here for brunch; i ordered the grand waffle (only thing was missing was the ice cream, but that is OKAY) It was delicious and it definitely hit the spot, my husband ordered the breakfast chilaquiles and says sauce was like a homemade tasting sauce. Definitely will visit again if in the area! And our waitress was lovely 😊

Why do you have the busser taking the order for tables today ?
I asked him a question about one of the menu items and instead of saying he didn’t know he just lied and gave a made up an answer … I know that there is a learning process but someone should explain that lying is rude.
Saying i don’t know let me check is a thousand times less insulting.

Food, ambiance is good but we notices that a few customer get extra charge in The ticket and looks like is the same server, not sure if all are the same but just be careful when you pay.
Update on this place, we eat there Saturday today's Monday September 23rd and my wife have 3 charges of same amount we spend there, I'm sorry but this african/American girl want to charge us more than we spend and looks like when we noticed (I'm not sure) she charge my wife card 3 times the amount???? Weird, is a nice place but that incident put this place with 2 stars. Hope owner check this reviews and fix this issues

Ordered sirloin steak cooked medium and eggs scrambled with cheese with potatoes and raisin toast with orange juice. Steak came out cooked well well done and rubbery eggs were terrible, potatoes were salty and the toast was the only thing that was ok to eat. I asked for bacon to replace the inedible steak and it was ok. My bill was $23.20 and they charged my card $24.70.

Sometimes it seems like the cooks take the good will and appetites of the customers for granted with bland & scanty ingredients & the fly population outside can become a tussle over who actually who's supposed to be eating the food. Otherwise the wait staff is attentive and it's a nice place to enjoy a leisurely meal inside the cool dining room when not in a hurry for anything else but enjoying the food and camaraderie.

Parking: Street parking surrounding this eatery can be scanty but is ok to park in the market parking lot on Gaffey & 12th St.
