Our hometown fav. Consistently great service and food for over 30 years. Fantastic menu. Reasonably priced.

Absolutely love this place. My family and I have been coming here for years. Unfortunately, they have decreased their portions but the quality of the food remains the same. I always get the Machaca Omelette- it is my favorite. The biscuits with gravy are also delicious. Everything is delicious! The staff is always friendly. It's a diner so you will get the diner atmosphere and service. Love this place!!!!

I had the chilaquiles with green sauce and it was delicious, also had the Banana pancakes and they were delicious too. Definitely will come back to try the lunch menu. Coffee was great too. Service is great and in the morning it wasn't too crowded. Will be back again

I stumbled upon Pacific Diner while searching for breakfast spots in San Pedro, drawn by its location further south. The interior felt intimate, with a limited number of seats both at the counter and in booth tables. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience the outdoor seating area. The server was warm and welcoming as I settled at the counter. Opting for a Denver omelette minus cheese but with added avocado, along with Homestyle potatoes and what seemed more like a roll than a classic biscuit, the meal was decent overall. The potatoes were a bit thinner than expected, but the omelette was well-prepared. The frequent coffee refills were very much appreciated. Despite this rather simple breakfast, coupled with tax and tip, the bill came out to around $30, a tad higher than anticipated. Despite this, the breakfast experience at Pacific Diner was enjoyable, albeit a bit pricey for what it offered.

It's one of the places all the locals like, but anyone else is left wondering what the deal is.

This place is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the entire South Bay. Been coming here since 2010. The service is always on point with the amazing and nice people who work here and the food is also delicious. I always go between the Machaca and the Acapulco omelette, and occasionally the club sandwich and each one of these dishes is always consistent and delicious. Come here with my parents about once a month for morning breakfast and they love this place too. It’s not fancy by any means and that’s what I love about it too- a locals spot that cares for the community and feeds them too. It’s even dog friendly so sometimes I bring my dog to sit outside with us and they have heaters too for those colder days when sitting outside.

Comfy local diner. Where everybody knows your name or at least remembers your face. Homestyle breakfast food turned up a notch and cooked with care. My favorite and go-to for breakfast. Staff is extremely friendly ???Picture: Machaca omelette?

The homemade whipped cream is the main reason I go to Pacific Diner. The menu is diverse, so everyone leaves happy. Great prices for friendly service and good food. Can't wait for my next meal at this neighborhood gem!

At what point do people take notice of a restaurant that continues a downward trend in quality of food and upkeep in its operations. The eating utensils are bent and older and than I am (and I am retired) and as poor a quality without being plastic, I actually would have preferred the plastic that's how bad they are. The tables and chairs are relics from days past. The quality of food is not what it used to be years ago, as an example the biscuits and gravy were bland (tasted like they were out of a box and a can) and the Louisiana sausage somewhat turned (bad). It is very obvious the owners are not concerned with quality of food or upkeep of the interior. Investing in better is not the goal if you look around and are honest. They have made one improvement, they have raised their prices but that does not benefit the customer when quality is not part of that process.
