I got the goddaughter sandwich on soft bread, the spicy penne pasta (that came with a piece of garlic bread) and a margherita pizza. I came to this deli because my favorite one in LB was closed and I'm so glad I did. It's menu is flavorful, fresh, and affordable. Do yourself a favor and order anything or everything off their menu. Give them some time, they make everything fresh.

My new favorite Italian place in all of LA!!! The sweetest people work at this place and the food literally tastes like it was made IN Italy and I’ve lived there for 5 years so trust me I KNOW. Can’t wait to take my mom and boyfriend here in the next few weeks as I need to try every single thing on the menu. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was unreal and the portions were so large for such a cheap price. Literally obsessed with this place. And to the sweet worker who helped us out, thank you endlessly 12/10 service

I had a delicious freshly made salad that I got to eat the Alvas Showroom just down the street from this place. I think they should team up with The Theatre to offer food and beverages at this venue.

My go to take out Italian restaurant in Pedro. I lived the pizza and I am a self proclaimed pizza snob! As a bonus, the market is great! The olive salad they have in stock is better than I get in New Orleans!

Got two sandwiches, the Italian sub and meatball sub and they both someone how managed to be terrible. Meatballs were full of fat and cartilage and were falling apart. The Italian sub had one slice of salami and 1 pepperoni totally underwhelming. Not even average.

I've lived in the neighborhood for 6 yrs now & I live a street away, super grateful this place exists. I love walking over with my little one to pick up lunch or dinner & some other treat. I'm obsessed with the Salami sandwich, the bread is fresh & it's just on point, always. The people working there are super kind & that means a lot. Also if you're in the mood for something sweet there limoncello parfait & Baklava is chefs kiss. Xx

The absolute BEST Meatball Parm in all of Pedro!! Huge juicy, tender meatballs with amazing marinara and gooey, melty cheese on the soft roll. We also had the Garden salad with Blue Cheese dressing and Wedding Cookie for dessert! I can't believe we ate the whole thing!!

Managgia (Damn!) this place is bad. Well, it was bad the time I went. The reason why I did not give it just one star is because the actual store had a variety of Italian products that saved the place. I would go back to purchase products but to order from their counter-deli, I would have to feel extremely generous to provide patronage to this place again. The food was below basic. And that is sad because Italian food lends itself to be delicious--- meat, cheese, sauce, all those good things that make a place good. I bought a pastrami sandwich, and a warm sandwich and I made myself kind of like a meat lovers pizza and all these items were, in a word, bad. They did not have robust flavor, or seemed to taste fresh. I cannot pinpoint what could have made these dishes better--- they were a lost cause. The thing is that if you want good Italian fare, there are other places to try in San Pedro. If you want good sandwiches, there are other places to try in San Pedro. If you want decent food, there are definitely better places to try in San Pedro. But if you want to shop an Italian Store that gives you comfort vibes go here but skip the food, I say. But that is one reviewer's opinion.

I recommend this extremely authentic, and delicious Italian market on the corner of Weymouth and 8th St. if you blink you can miss it! That would be a shame! The only thing I have gotten here before were a dozen or more cannolis. Mostly for my parties. They are incredibly authentic and I know from where I speak, having grown up in New York City, and never one to miss the Feast of San Janeiro! Or a great Italian restaurant in Kip's Bay (where the real Family hangs out) or Little Italy where the old and the Nuevo Italy mix it up. Enough of my mutt pedigree! Pizzoli's is the real deal. The staff was only to happy to help us! Setting us up with napkins, and utensils outside. We had really gone off our palate charts and order the Cubano individual size pizza. It was to die for! Plenty of shredded pork in a delicious blend of sweet Italian and spicy Cuban sauce and a titillating blend Italian shredded cheeses along with some Latin flavored cheese. Don't ask me what they're called it's all Greek to me! But our mouths had a wonderful time. There was more than enough to take home to Pete the real Greek! When I found out my lunch companion had never had a cannoli in her life I knew we were there at divine intervention! The cannoli's are generously stuffed with sweet Italian cheese and a beautiful hint of chocolate in the shell along with a heavy hand with the powdered sugar on the outside of the shell. I closed my eyes after that first bite and was transported back to Mama's kitchen in NYC.?

first things first this place is a gem , hands down best Italian market in pedro , I thought A1 was my spot but they can go ahead & close down now .. after my friend was let go due to ownership change , I have now moved on up to pirozzi & man am I mad I haven't tried them before mind you I'm born & raised pedro & never been in there idk how I missed it or never had it but I'm sure glad I have .. my sister bought there marinated mushrooms & man they were the best I ever had compared to GO's , I went back the next day for more & seaweed salad I must say it's my go to snack for when i want veggies lol , I'll be going back for the sandwiches I heard are outta sight , I tried the Croatian & was wildly impressed with the meat & sauce , I can't wait to try the spicy cubano next

Excellent food! Their service is spectacular but I cannot say enough about their sandwiches and pizzas. I am so happy they're now open late so I can get yummy meatball sandwiches on my way home.
