This place is advertised as a restaurant but it's more like a bar/diner. The food is ok. I din't like how the menu presents items not served. The drinks were horrible. I paid $12 for 3 lemonades that my kids took 1 sip each. The service was not outstanding but what do you expect. ‍ I'm not coming back to spend my money here.

This place usto be the OG spot every weekend you would catch me getting some bomb tacos but man the food went really down in quality in the last couple of years , they've spend more money on entertainment but food quality is bland service is fine but you really have to be drunk to enjoy the food It's a bar not a restaurant

Had a dozen of oysters prepared and it wasn't the best. I would question the freshness of the oysters. Stay away from them. Very fishy taste I've had oysters at 100s of places this is the worst I've had.

I got the seafood cocktail that had everything. Shrimp, octopus etc plus a tasty raw oyster . If you're not afraid to spend your money come on down to San Pedro, CA.It is my hometown and I like to spend my hard earned cash their. Also chips and salsa were delicious Friendly workers and servers. Thumbs up for Mexican style seafood cocktails

Walked into this place expecting to get a quick tasty breakfast. The place smelled so foul, of old garbage and older greasy food. Turned right around and walked out. The health department should close down this pit of questionable food quality. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The chips sitting on the tables looked old and moldy. Eek! As bad as Tres Cochinitos is, this is much worse.

Bad customer, server first, my table were dirty, my friend and I asked the waitress if she could clean the table but she simply came out asking us if we wanted something to drink. We waited around 20 minutes and no one came to serve us, we also went in to ask for a waitress. but no one came to help us, so we decided to leave. The restaurant was not busy, but we had a bad experience at this location

Place is dirty and expensive I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada it was smelly and no flavor my husband ordered a molcajete the chicken was very soft overcooked and the meat was too hard like rubber I ordered a fresh tamarindo water and I was too old no flavor and had a lot of bubbles look like it was sitting in the jar for too many days I pay $ 48 + it was the worst food I ever had . My first time in there bad experience never come back

Passing through while working and decided to stop by for a quick bite (breakfast)Was just ok for me....not bad but not great. According to the reviews dinner is better. Just a little rundown for me. My hubby did enjoy his food by the way. lol

Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.

Brite Spot Mexican Restaurant offers authentic Mexican food dining. You're greeted as soon as you step inside. The menu covers a selection of traditional dishes (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, or tamales) prepared with care and bursting with flavor. I especially like the carne asada topped with fresh ingredients, cooked & spiced to perfection. I also love the enchilada plate. They also serve cocktails and margaritas. The restaurant is small with dining inside and out. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and attentive staff. They do get busy and the waits can be long (find and avoid peak hours).

I always order here on the weekends and the food is good. They deliver or you can pick up - which is great. I've ordered the ceviche cup and it's really good- they pack it up with chips, tostadas, limes, packets of tapatío and napkins. I have also ordered pozole and tamale- pozole was really good and the tamale comes prepared. I'd recommend this spot. Easy ordering in this app as well

Freshly made tacos, definitely give it a try. I had tongue, chopped beef and pork. Love the green sauce, so spicy and delicious. Fantastic margaritas. $30 for 5 tacos and 2 margaritas.
