Very unique and delicious menu Service was attentive and friendly We enjoyed the restaurant so much we will be back
Crisp service. Relaxed lively vibe. Excellent oysters on the half shell. Leopard shark was a surprising delicious fish and chips variant. Other seafood and salads were fresh and tasty. Open Table reservation helped our party of four get seated promptly. There was a line of hungry patrons waiting for 5 pm opening.
Very good food with a variety of options and good service. Went early on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy. The guitar player added a nice ambience to the room, although the noise level was fairly high. It is definitely a destination restaurant, as it is on a commercial dock of San Pedro.
We were extremely disappointed with the pacing and coursing of our meal, especially given our long history with this restaurant. We have recommended this place to several people and have brought many patrons here over time. We dine here frequently with groups, and our visits consistently involve full meals with multiple courses.
Because we have experienced issues with improper coursing here before, we were very intentional and clear with our waitress from the start. We specifically asked for the oysters to be brought out first on their own. Instead, they arrived at the same time as the bread, despite us clearly stating otherwise.
We also asked that the meal be properly paced overall and that courses be brought out separately. That request was ignored throughout the night. The salad and appetizers were brought out together even though we asked for them to come separately, and later when the pasta was brought out at the same time as the steak despite us explicitly asking for the steak to be served last.
When we raised these concerns, the waitress claimed that we had not given these instructions, which was simply untrue. We reiterated our requests multiple times precisely to avoid this situation. To make matters worse, when the steak was sent back, she said a new one would be made, but the same steak was returned—now overcooked.
The food itself was good, but yesterday’s experience was terrible. This restaurant presents itself as an upscale dining experience, yet it consistently struggles with one of the most basic expectations of fine dining: properly coursing and pacing a meal. Given our loyalty and the level of dining we consistently order here, this was extremely disappointing.

My wife and I spotted this place on our morning walk around the marina and recognized the Trani name and decided to give it a shot with another couple from church and I’m glad we did.
Great off the beaten path 5 star cuisine. This is more of a fine dining experience with smaller portions and everything is à la carte so it can get pricey, but the food is amazing and the Peruvian Bay Scallops from the Oyster bar were the best I’ve ever had. There is an extensive wine list and a full bar which is nice. The service was exceptional and if you are lucky enough to get Cole he will become your food journey guide and not just your waiter, so trust him😊
Lastly hats off to the chef for the delicious traditional yet outside the box food he prepared. A great experience!

I was in Thursday night with some friends. First off the ambiance of the place was off the charts. I had the sausage gnocchi for my entree and it was wonderful, next time I’m going to try the mushroom pappardelle. What put our experience over the top was our server Anthony. So kind and attended to our every need. He was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back.

The food is good but the service is shit the people think they’re better than everyone second time here same experience both time won’t be coming back
Fantastic spot. One of the best restaurants in SoCal. Noe is awesome!
The food was made with no love, no flavor and beyond over priced for the portions recieved. I feel as if Italians on the west coast forgot what our food means to the world. Beautiful Colors, smell, flavors and above all pricing. Most italian immigrants came here just like myself and our food was meant to be affordable and where you can bring your family of 4 or 5 and eat at a reasonable price. No way Should a dinner cost almost $800 including the tip. Must be northern Italian, me and my family will not be returning back to this establishment.

The clam chowder is the best I've ever had—including the clam chowder I had in Boston. They roast the potatoes before adding to the chowder and include leeks. So delicious! The drinks were also spot on good. We will definitely be back!
We visited for the first time this evening, and we were greeted by our server Anthony. The service was amazing and he did his best to answer any questions we had as well as space out and serve our courses! He was polite, prompt, professional, and fun! Sophie the manager (forgive me if i misspelled) was super friendly and helpful as well. We will be back ASAP to see Anthony!
