Ribs have plenty of meat, but to my taste a bit dry and chewy. I like more tender and more moisture ribs meat. Salads were good and fresh, but really small. Staff was friendly. OK for one time, but won’t drive here specially for ribs for $30+…pricy… Other restaurants offer more and better for the same price.

I got in the habit of walking from my house to Cabrillo Beach. One day I was on my way and I smelt the most amazing aroma. I wanted to stop right there but I needed to finish my walk. I came back and ordered the rib plate and cornbread. Well I deserved it after my walk and all. BBQ, real BBQ is all about the meat. Whiskey Flats doesn't disappoint. You can taste the smoke all the way through. It was tender and juicy. The service was awesome as well. I will definitely be back, I want to try all of their menu. Thank you for some great BBQ and cornbread!

Was just driving by and seen this place and oh the smell of BBQ had us stop and try it out. Interesting spot with outdoor seating. The employees are very friendly and cool. We opted to get 2 meats and sides to go. Of course we wanted to sample it before leaving. The brisket and pull pork were easy to just pull apart and were delicious. The potato salad and green beans were also tender. We were sad that there wasn't cornbread. I'll definitely be back to try the chicken and hopefully the cornbread.

Outdoors very cool old gas station turned into barbecue place. You feel like you're at a far off different place here I like it. The food has been consistently delicious I like to get the beef brisket and the cornbread is available. Sometimes they sell out consistently delicious family run history, and I like That I had a chance to learn a little bit about the history of San Pedro. This area used to be substantial producer of whiskey, during prohibition, whiskey, Flats is an awesome neighborhood, full of charming history and great barbecue
The place was much better when it first opened. The brisket has been overcooked the last few times.

Visited Long Beach area and heard out Whiskey Flats from hotel we stayed at. Decided to check it out and food was outstanding. Didn't have any place to sit because they only have outdoor seating and it was raining that day. Not big issue, took back to hotel and enjoyed food there. Recommend this place to locals and those visiting from out of town.

I've been coming here for the past three years and you would get a lot for your money. Today was the deal breaker for me and probably won't be coming back ever. Ordered a plate of ribs with two sides. Paid about $27 total. When I got home, there were only 5 small little ribs and the sides came in the smallest containers I've ever seen. I know economy is rough but come on!!! Complete ripoff.
