Our book club had a wonderful dinner here. Several had pasta, dishes and salad. All delicious. I had the prime rib dinner, which was absolutely wonderful. We will be back.

Great cozy restaurant alongside a nostalgic hotel. Fun local spot for happy hour to watch the games. Wednesdays are prime rib days with other specials listed on other days. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. The salmon risotto is creamy and fresh.

Such a fantastic surprise! We chose to go here before an event at Dominican College. Our waiter/host was wonderfully welcoming, food was so good. We had appetizers and shared the beet salad while savoring a cocktail during happy hour. Everything was so delicious especially the pistachio cake for dessert recomended by our host. Hesitate to recommend because it may get too popular. We will definitely be back!

I have been to this restaurant four times. Each time the service and the food were excellent. I will be a repeat customer. I actually look forward to going again soon. Give it a try. I think you won't be disappointed.

I've brought my senior friend here 3 x now. He has cerebral palsy and drops his silverware, knocks over his glass etc. The waiters have been so friendly and food is delicious and plentiful. Prime rib night is our favorite but regular menu is good too. We will be regulars!

GREAT service! Server checked in as our meal progressed. Water glasses filled! Food was hot (temperature wise), just like we enjoy it. So many times you get warm food on your dinner plate with one it two of the items. Bar drinks were good as well. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Will return again when in the area!

Our new fave in San Rafael! So unassuming but delicious good, great service, excellent happy hour, fair prices...what else could there be? Four of us had dinner and all happy with our choices...squid ink pasta, eggplant parm, butternut squash ravioli and mushroom risotto. Can't wait to return!

Robbie is great host and very helpful with menu selections. The Chicken Marsala was fabulous as was their Egg Plant Parmesean.

Had to drop a review because this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. First off—free bread (yes, please). My kid was happy too—fun kids' menu, crayons, and seriously good chicken strips and fries. We kicked things off with crispy Brussels sprouts that were amazing. Portions were huge—had leftovers for the next day. My risotto was perfectly cooked, loaded with delicious mushrooms, while my wife's Frutti de Mare came with tons of fresh seafood on squid-ink pasta (such a nice touch). Even the mocktails impressed—peach “bourbon” with a spicy kick was my fave. Food came out fast, but you could tell the kitchen put real care into every dish.

The drinks were good, but the food extremely disappointing. The calamari was from the Goodyear factory, super super rubbery (probably mircrowaved) and the breading just wasn't fresh. The aioli was not good. The pappardelle with sausage and mushroom was ok and petrale sole was also ok. Nothing said great or "fresh". We used to like this place but time to move on.

We honestly don't know how they got such good reviews. The sauces on perfectly good fish were gloppy and didn't even taste like real food. I wish I didn't feel compelled to warn others not to eat here (this is my first ever restaurant rating) but someone — the owner? — needs to go into the kitchen and taste the food.

The “local place” that people dream about having. Family run, great food and easy to get a table. You don't find gems like this very often!
