I came by to try Emma's restaurant after seeing the reviews and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and full of flavor. And the portion sizes, they were very generous. This is everything I would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The service was also great and were very attentive. The decor and vibe is very modern and nice, which is very different from the typical Chinese restaurants. Emma's is definitely going to be our regular spot whenever we are craving Chinese food!

Walked in on our way to the City, it's very nice that it's right off the freeway. The atmosphere is beautifully done, very modern and comfortable. Food was very quick and delicious, my daughter loved the mushroom beef and we also loved the mushy pork. Service was fantastic from all employees. I totally recommend and look forward to visiting again to try more of the menu!

Might try this place again but disappointed in the mango chicken. The picture on the online ordering is MUCH different than what you get. WTH!! All the other food was ok and looked like the pics online - but definitely not entrees I’d miss.
I needed something fast and quick because I was at work. Called in and the owner suggested the Mongolian Beef and steamed rice! And it the spot! Amazing flavors, quick easy and delicious! Thank you guys!

Earlier this evening. Placed order online for pickup to take home. Four different entree items. Returned home which is less than 7 minutes away. However extremely disappointed on sitting down and eating. Clearly food not recently prepared. Nothing crisp or fresh. All fails - the look - the smell - and the taste. My assumption was that all four items had been prepared hours or days earlier - and simply been heated up. Not a good way to run a business.

Order takeout and it was very quick. The princess beef was good, everything else was pretty bland. Maybe I have to ask for more spicy but even curry ?

After living in Marin County for many years, we had struggled to find a great Chinese restaurant—until tonight. Our first visit to Emma's Chinese Restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left plenty to take home. The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located at 817 Francisco Blvd W in San Rafael, near the I-580 and US-101 junction, it’s easy to find. If you're looking for a fantastic meal, give Emma's a try—you won’t be disappointed!

We went for a meal at Pings only to find out it has changed hands and is now Emma's! Same place, same building. Maybe Pings went under because of Covid, as many businesses did, I don't know. Too bad. However, we enjoyed an excellent meal here last night. The waiters were speedy and efficient. The crab puffs were the best I've had, really crispy. Then I ordered the beef with three mushrooms, plus the eggplant dish, not realizing that the beef with mushrooms came with other vegetables anyway - bok choy, baby sweet corn, and more. It was all delicious. My husband had the fish, but of course we had ordered far too much and needed take home boxes for about a third of it. We will certainly come here again, but not order nearly as much! Highly recommend this restaurant.
